Small villa directly on the cliffs of the romantic, beautiful harbour of Cala Figuera with large terraces in front of the living room and 3 small terraces in the slope garden. Individual and beautiful in the 'estilo mediterrneo' style. Ideal for couples, friends or small families, maximum of 4-5 accommodations. The small villa is located peacefully outside of the chugging of daily fishing fleets. This and other movements can be observed live in the harbour from the spacious terrace. The villa has a small terrace in front of the main entrance. Here you can enjoy the evening sun. A salon with a fireplace. A few steps lead to the built-in kitchen with a beautiful view of the harbour, other steps lead to the sleeping gallery with a French bed. On the living area is a dining room, a small room with two single beds and the bathroom. In the garden room there are bunk beds and a cabinet. Cala Figuera: the natural retreat 'par excellence' has changed into a passage harbour for sea people, it is particularly quiet, because there are just a few spaces to anchor. The fishing harbour was carefully preserved during the past years. Cars are not allowed in the central harbour region. Everyone must go on foot. Those who like to eat fish will find a lot in different restaurants. This, plus the bars and terraces cafes, are very charming. A few apartments and smaller simpler hotels bring a balance of tourists. Excursion buses hardly drive to the harbour. You can go swimming from the marked cliff terraces or you can drive with the beach bus to Cala Santanyi or with the glass boat to the two beaches of Cala Mondrago and S'Amarador.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The price applies for a booking of 2 people. Each extra person pays € 10 per night additionally. Children under 10 years of age cannot be accepted due to the location of the cliffs. Final cleaning fee for 2 people € 80, each extra person + € 10. Every 7 days, there is a change of linens with cleaning and once a week there is a house cleaning. Please bring along your own beach towels. In the house you will find a washing machine. Service charge per wash cycle € 5,
    The € 150 security deposit will be reimbursed within a week after departure through an internet bank. Please bring along your complete bank information for this (IBAN + BIC). Possible damages will be taken from the sum.
  • Petita Villa Mar y Sol is rented year-round.
    During the transition and winter months, the electric radiators can be used. These are charged with € 5 per night.
    A fireplace is located in the salon. Firewood for this can be purchased in the gardener's shop and the gas station.
    For a longer stay (21 days or more) during the winter season from Nov. 1, 2009 to March 30, 2010, we give a discount.
  • The arrival days are flexible. Please pay attention to the possible connection data so that are not big holes in booking. The following rules apply for a guest change on the same day: departure before 9:30, arrival after 15:00. This time is needed in order to prepare Petita Villa for the new guests. Other arrival times can also be agreed upon.
    # Terms of booking: upon reservation, you will receive a booking confirmation, the directions and rental car information per email or mail. Upon receipt of this, please transfer 30% of the rental sum to the account listed. The remaining amount is to be paid on site upon arrival. If possible, a German/English speaking person will wait for you at the agreed upon meeting point for day and night times and they will accompany into the rental object and give you the house keys and house instructions. This person is also authorized to accept the remaining payment on behalf of the house owner providing a receipt.

Beaches nearby: Cala Santanyi: countless options for walks on the randomly formed steep coasts. For example, you will see rock formations in the form of an archway 'El Pontas', a famous post card motif. Below in the protected bay you will find a fine-sand beach with a peaceful ambiance. Cala Lombards: here you will find 4 beaches nearby with crystal-clear water. Cala Mondrago: this largest beach of the region is under natural protection. From here you can go on excursions nearby through the marked paths. Here you will find important ethnological remains. Around the nature park you will find only two small hostels. S'amarador: this beach can be easily reached by bicycle or car from Cala Figuera. It is shallow and provides ideal conditions for families with children. Here you can rent loungers and sun umbrellas and the pines give the appropriate shade. A foot path connects both beaches.

Santanyi: Santanyi is located in southeast Majorca and thanks to its location, it has preserved its original character. Small restaurants and street cafes, grocery stores, a German speaking doctor and a pharmacy offer year-round life, fiestas, a large weekly market on Wednesdays and Saturdays and a lot of interesting shops and attractions. You will find all utilities here.

Vall D'Or golf course: Vall D'Or, one of the most famous golf courses in Majorca with its newly renovated club house and a stunning view of the Cala D'Or and the harbour of Porto Colom, is located just a few minutes away by car. Here you will find regular golf courses for beginners and advanced in small groups, offered in Spanish, German or English. A visit to the spacious complex is also worth it for 'non-golfers'.
