Das Haus liegt wie beschrieben in einem privaten, unüberschaubar großen Park, in dem man stundenlang verweilen und entdecken kann. Das wunderschöne alte Fachwerkhaus ist nicht saniert, wer auf Einbauküche und neue sanitäre Anlagen hofft, sollte dort nicht hin fahren! Es ist urig und gemütlich und bietet alles, was man zum Entspannen braucht. Für Action muss man selbst sorgen, die umliegende Gegend (Wälder, Wiesen und Felder), lädt zum Fahrradfahren (Achtung bergig!), wandern, fotografieren und zeichnen ein. Es ist herrlich ruhig, die Vermieterin wohnt im selben haus, dadurch ist es keinewegs einsam. Um in die größeren Städte zu gelangen, braucht man schon ein Auto. An eine Bahnstation kann ich mich nicht erinnern, aber es fährt ein Bus. Übrigens heißt der Örtchen, in dem die Unterkunft liegt, heißt Drinhausen! Hätten wir das vorher gewußt, hätten wir uns erhebliche Anfahrzeit erspart! :-)
Owner's Response: Der Ortsteil "Drinhausen" ist der Stadt Waldbröl eingemeindet und deshalb postalisch nicht eigenständig ausgewiesen.
Wir werden unseren Besuchern künftig einen entsprechenden
Hinweis geben.
