A beautiful spacious home and a big garden for your recreation are awaiting you! The house is located in a quiet, small non gated community, just a stone's throw away from Casey Key Beach. You will find 2 bedrooms, a living room with separate dining space, 2 bathrooms and an powder room distributed on 2 stories. In the living room there is a fireplace and for your entertainment there is the TV, DVD-Player, video recorder and stereo equipment. In addition you can surf the internet via WLAN. In the pool area you can eat underneath a covered seating place, the food prepared directly on the BBQ next to it. The kitchen is fully equiped with dish washer, microwave, stove and oven, coffee machine, juicer, aso. In the laundry room there is a washing machine and a dryer. The 1965 sqft living space are under air condition. You enter Bayside Paradies thru the attached 2 car garage, where you can also find the mountain bikes (2 for adults, 2 for children) for your first expedition...

Nokomis is located on Floridas west coast at the Gulf of Mexico, south of Sarasota and only a few minutes by car from Venice. Our house is located in a safe, quiet (non-gated) community, just 2miles off I-75 and minutes away from exclusive Casey Key and its beaches. The community is 'west of trail', which means, that it's west of US-41, Tamiami Trail and therefore really close to the Gulf of Mexico. You won't find high-rise buildings here, but lots of places with untouched nature. Nokomis Beach on Casey Key now has a brand new pavilion complete with bath/changing facilities, concession stand, free public parking, and public boat launch across the street. An endless list of activities are available within a few minutes by car. The shops of Venice, museums of Sarasota, theatres, outlet malls, Siesta Key Beach (one of the top rated beaches in the world), dining, golf courses, boating and so on. To Tampa/St. Petersburg it takes 1 hour. To Orlando or the Everglades you will drive 2 hours

Notes: The 1965 sqft living space under air condition have been completely renovated and new furnished/equiped in 2003. Linen, towels for the house, the beach or the pool are plenty available. For the beach you will find chairs, inflatable mattresses, noodles, sunshades and a cooler. The pool is solar heated and its size is 8 by 5 metres. Once a week the water is professionally checked and the pool cleaned. In the kitchen you will find additional equipment like a fondue, juicer, toaster, bottle cooler, plates and glasses out of plastic for the beach. A hair-dryer you will find in the bathroom. Upon request you can use my desktop computer.

The great outdoors just around the corner: 5 minutes by bike, there is the entrance of Oscar Scherer State Park. You will find hiking and biking trails through a wonderful nature, a small lake to swim in, a BBQ with tables and seats for picnic. 5 minutes by car and you are at the South Shetty on Casey Key. Take your time and observe dolphins, manatees, ospreys, pelicans, sandpipers, egrets, blue herons and much more. I even saw a manta ray on one of my bike tours over the island of Casey Key! Or rent a kanu or kayak (rental available 1 km from my house). They bring it e.g. to Casey Key North Bridge and from there on you can paddle northwards to Midnight Pass. Pull your boat on land, climb up the dune and you find yourself on a pristine beach between Siesta Key and Casey Key. There is so much more to discover - write me, I am happy to help.

Culture arround Sarasota: You want to learn more about Floridas history and their natives? Visit Historic Spanish Point (2 km north of Nokomis). First a movie will lead your through the past and then you'll follow their path by yourself - exciting and informative! You love to visit theatres, musicals, concerts, the ballet, the opera or a museum? This is just a small bit of what the area has to offer: Van Wezel Hall Sarasota, Asolo Theatre Sarasota, Venice Little Theatre, Ringling Museum Sarasota, Asian Museum Sarasota, Salvador Dali Museum St. Peterburg, Museum of Fine Arts St. Petersburg, The Players Sarasota, Friday Evening Walk through the opened artiste studios in Sarasota, Florida Studio Theatre Sarasota and of course all the open air concerts with all different styles of music.
