The beautiful, historical mountain village of Vasia (about 450 residents) has a very picturesque location on an elevation of 385 m in the backcountry of Imperia in the middle of olive groves, facing the south and the coast. Vasia has a small grocery store and a post office, in Caramagna (about 7 km) you will find a supermarket. The soft mountain landscape invites you to go hiking or mountain biking. The clean and well-kept beaches in Imperia and the surrounding area (see ADAC test) are only about 10 km away and offer swimming fun from May to October.
Not far form here you will find very beautiful and interesting locations that you can reach easily over the highway: if, for example, you drive along the coast to the east, you can visit Diano Alassio (25 km), Portofino (140 km) and Cinqueterre (150 km): if, in contrast, you drive to the west, you can reach San Remo (20 km), Monaco (55 km), Nice (about 75 km), Cannes (90 km) and Saint Tropez (180 km).
