This privately owned, well maintained, luxury studio apartment has quality beds and furniture including satellite television, DVD player, stereo CD radio/cassette, telephone, iron and hairdryer. The apartment is sunny and spacious, and has a large terrace with stunning views of the sea and the harbour in Los Cristianos. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, kettle, microwave and toaster. The bathroom contains a washing machine. Port Royale is a modern complex built in Andalucian style and sits quietly on the hillside overlooking the charming resort of Los Cristianos. There is a pool, staffed reception area, gardens, and Italian restaurant on the complex. Port Royale is a residential community and does not have the late night noise problems that can spoil your holiday on many of the more commercial complexes. A well-stocked supermarket is close by, as are a wide choice of restaurants; the beach and centre of Los Cristianos are a 15 minute stroll away.

Location: Los Cristianos in Canary Islands

Nearest Airport: Tenrerife South at 15 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 500.0 Metres
Located on the south west coast of Tenerife 1 mile south of Playa de las Americas and 11 miles west of Reina Sofia Airport, Los Cristianos features a pedestrian promenade and shopping area with pavement cafes, which runs the length of the shore and harbour. A few brightly coloured fishing vessels from its sedate past survive in the harbour today. There is a sandy beach adjacent to the harbour and to the north a long stretch of sandy beach running to the resort of Las Americas. Daytime activities include: deep-sea fishing, golf and other leisure pursuits. Ferries run daily to La Gomera, El Hierro and La Palma. Excursions are available to visit Mt Tiede and Las Canadas National Park, the capital Santa Cruz and a round the island tour. In the evening there are many varied restaurants to suit all tastes, all within a short walk of Port Royale. A very popular Italian restaurant, La Bella Roma borders onto the complex.

Notes: This is a residential complex and no pets are allowed. There are no bars on the complex and there is a noise curfew after 2300 hours. The complex, as a result, is quiet and relaxing, the pool area is rarely very crowded.

We spent 12 lovely days in this very nice appartment in October 2008.
The appartment is well cleaned and maintained by a very friendly cleaning service that has its office in the complex. The communication with the owner of the appartment had been very friendly and informative, all questions have been answered in a very detailed and timely manner.
Even maps and information about the area have been provided before the trip.

The appartment itself is very well-equipped and offers everything that 2 people would need.
The appartment complex is located on a hill over Los Cristianos, and very quiet especially at night.
We enjoyed the terrace every morning for breakfast, and every evening to chill into the sunset.
Good restaurants and a supermarket are nearby, easy to walk there.

Definitely the top recommendation for everyone who wants to stay away from mass-tourism and large hotels. Instead of visiting crowded beaches every day, you can walk to the nice pool (exclusively for guests of the appartment complex) in just a minute. Public bus transfer is well organized there, however we preferred to discover the island by a rental car.

A Good Holiday

My wife and I have just had a most relaxing 2 week holiday in this apartment. It was clean, tidy and well equipped. The complex itself is clean and very quiet, just how we liked it. The terrace faces west, so we enjoyed relaxing there in the evening, with a bottle of wine, watching the sunset. This was our first visit to Tenerife, and it probably wont be our last.
