The villa occupies a prominent spot in a small side valley, some 3 km above Dolceacqua. Thanks to the south-westerly position, the house enjoys plenty of sunshine throughout the year. The villa, entirely rendered with natural stones, was only finalised in 2009 and is perfect for all those who appreciate the benefits of contemporary living. The 190 qm are split over three levels and the 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. You can enjoy stunning views from the living area, the loggia and the terrace. On clear days, you can see all the way to the sea. The high quality equipment and the contemporary interior design make this house very attractive. The surrounding 10,000 qm grounds are laid out in terraces divided into different areas such as an old vineyard, an olive grove and a small woodland. The swimming pool is integrated into the spacious terrace.

The romantic village of Dolcacqau is located some 8 km north of Ventimiglia and is a picture perfect example for a typical Ligurian medieval town. Narrow mews lead up to the ruins of the Doria castle and the ancient and elegant stone bridge connecting the two town districts Terra and Borgo was once much admired by the French painter Claude Monet. In the area surrounding Dolceacqua, olive oil and the Ligurian red wine 'Rossesse di Dolceacqua' isbeing produced.

Notes: All rooms are individually decorated. Unusual and purely organic building materials were used through the house such as Maroccan tadelakt, clay rendering combined with mother of pearl and hay. Also, clay colours, natural stones, polished concrete floors and wooden floors made of olive trees further enhance the overall design concept. The materials chosen, provide a sensual experience and a healthy room climate. There are two bicycles (one mountain bike and one children's mountain bike).
