Playa las Americas is a tourism centre and is located on the coasts of Adeje and to which belong also the settlements like Playa del Duque, Fañabé, Torviscas, San Eugenio. After some work on the coast, it was possible to create several beaches here, including: these of Torviscas and El Bobo. In front of the Club Atlantis is the 'Puerto Colon' located, a marina from which start different sea excursions for whale/dolphin observations and fishing. At the beach El Bobo you will find a wind surfing school with rental of boards and a sailing school with rentals of sailboats and catamarans. The climate here is almost dry and very sunny throughout the year. In this area exist different beaches with gold sand and also a tourism office, countless bars, restaurants and the shore promenade, which leads along the coast, and it is reserved for pedestrians. There are also several diving schools and shopping centres.

Playa las Americas: Playa las Americas is a tourism centre, you will have a small shopping centre right next to the complex and about a 5 minutes up the street you will find a large shopping centre with a supermarket. In front of your house you will find the sea and a bit to the right is the Puerto Colon, it is the marina and from here you can go on dolphin and whale observation trips. In about a 10 minutes ride by car or bus is for example: Golf Adeje, Compostella Beach 2,...possibilities and theme parks like: Siam Park, Jungle Park, Aqualand....
