Playa Mar y Sol (beach, sea and sun) - this is the name of this spacious, sunny ground floor holiday apartment with a sea view, pool and garden. It has a fantastic location above the beach of S'Arenal in Sa Punta/Porto Colom in a sophisticated residential area. This lone-standing residential building consists of altogether 5 apartments. The garden and the pool belong to the community. Only our ground floor apartment is rented for tourists. The other owners are usually not present. The property is taken care of by a gardener. The large living room, dining room and built-in kitchen face the garden/sea and give you direct access to the terrace/pool/garden. This terrace is half covered with a rain-safe roof and large blinds to protect from the sun. IN the other part of the apartment you will find three large bedrooms with closets, two bathrooms and a utilities room. The furnishing is new. Ideal booking: 6 people. We only accept people who can swim, because of the pool.

Porto Colom, valued as the natural anchor for sea people, a majority of the original constructions on the sea have been kept. This gives off a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The city center from the last century serves the residents of Felanitx as a second residence, particularly during the summer months. The other part of the village offers a lot of recreational activities during the summer. Here you will find a large beach and two smaller bays. There is also a diving and surfing school here. Particularly special is the shipping industry, which is made of small family companies that have preserved the art of building ships according to old tradition. Porto Colom has supermarkets, a pharmacy, hair salon, boutiques, a lot of restaurants in all price categories, bars, internet cafe and a beautiful Paseo Maritimo.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The prices are for a booking of up to 6 people.
    During the shoulder seasons we can agree upon a booking with 4 people (2 bedrooms and a bathroom) for a different price.
    Final cleaning is € 120. Weekly, the bedsheets and towels are changed and a temporary cleaning is done. On request and for a fee. The costs for the 2 air conditioners are charged with € 5 per night, these can be orded and paid for on site.
    The security deposit amounts to € 150. This is reimbursed within a week after departure via a bank transfer. Your bank data, IBAN and BIC should be brought along on arrival. Possible damages or extra cleaning are taken from the amount for extra cleaning needed.
    The apartment must be left over in a clean condition without trash on the day of departure. The German manager remains your contact.
  • Bedsheets, towels, table linens, 3 beach umbrellas, cooler available. Beach towels should be brought along. Pool and garden care by the house gardener. The apartment has a large utility room with a washing machine and drying place.
  • Booking modalities: upon reservation you will receive a booking confirmation, the directions and rental car information through email or mail. After receipt of this, transfer 30% of the rental amount to the given account. The remaining amount is to be paid in cash on arrival. Upon arrival you will be expected by a German/English speaking person at the agreed upon point in time, they will show you the rental object and give you the house keys and instructions. This person is also authorized to accept the remaining amount on behalf of the house owner with a receipt. We want you to feel comfortable as an internet booker.

Notes: This friendly, well-lit and spaciously designed holiday apartment is located in a sophisticated villa region, within walking distance from the small beach S'Arenal in the district of Sa Punta. A large living room with a/c, a large dining room and the built-in kitchen are located in the garden. These rooms are connected with one another through open walls. Large glass doors lead to the partially covered terrace. Spacious blinds protect you from too much sun. In the back area of the apartment you will find three large bedrooms with built-in cabinets and two bathrooms and a utilities room with a washing machine. The entire apartment furnishing is new. The house is about 10 years old, the apartment is being rented for the 2nd year. The pool, the garden, the entire property is regularly maintained by a gardener. Since the pool is located in the garden, we can only accept children who can swim. Please understand this.

Beaches in Porto Colom: Cala Marsal in the new part of Porto Colom. This is the largest and easiest to reach beach is just about 5 minutes from your house. It is ideal for children, has a restaurant and beach bar, loungers, sun umbrellas, showers, pedal boats, etc. It is surrounded by smaller hotels. The parking lot is directly on the beach. Sala S'Arenal in the old part of Porto Colom. This beach is about 2 km from your house. It is mainly used by locals and is located very near the harbour entrance with a view of all of Porto Colom with the mountains in the background. Here you can observe the romantic sunsets. The beach bar, in an Ibiza style, is open far into the evening.

Beaches nearby: Cala Brafi: a small natural beach that can be reached through a cliff hiking path. Cala Murada: mostly locals swim here, together with primarily German, Belgian and French tourists that go on holiday in the only hotel. By car, you can reach the beach directly after parking. Es Domingos: a very beautiful sand beach with deep water and high waves if there is water. Cala Senau: here you will find a small, nice beach surrounded by a pine forest. Cala Serena, Cala Esmeralda, Cala Gran, Cala Egos, Cala Barca, Cala Mondrago and a lot more.

Golf: 5 km away you will find the golf course Vall D'Or, one of the most famous golf courses in Majorca with its newly renovated club house and a stunning view of the Cala D'Or and the harbour of Porto Colom. This is located just a few minutes from the house. Here you will find regular golfing courses for beginners and advanced players in small groups, in Spanish, German or English. Also for non-golfers, a visit to the spacious course is worth it. 20 km away you will find the exclusive Mariott's Golf Son Antem I and II rResort.
