Hiking, cycling, wellness & wine: Nearby you will find enchanting hiking options through the hills and forests, past lakes and castles. Of course, it is also ideal for cycling tours! Those who want to discover romantic vineyards and the first-class Stuttgart wines and want to enjoy will find a lot of options. For example, at the countless wine festivals in and around Stuttgart, int he typical inns, also called ostrich and cycling inns. A term for self-created wine. On altogether four different wine hiking paths you can experience seven different tours in the hilly wine and vineyard landscape. In no other German large city are the vineyards so present as in Stuttgart. Those who want to really relax after long hiking days can discover one of the most beautiful sauna/wellness parks in the country in the nearby SI centre and unwind here.
Dining & going out: Nearby you will find countless restaurants that have something to offer for every taste. Indian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Mexican and a lot more, along with lush Stuttgart cuisine can be found here. Sightseeing & Shopping: Except from the countless castles (Baroque Castle Ludwigsburg or Castle Solitude) you will find a lot of other things to discover nearby. The Killesbergpark, for example, as a very special experience, from Killesberg tower you can see the entire city of Stuttgart and beyond, the park and a historical circus from Anno. Additionally, there are enough exciting things for the small guests. In Stuttgart you will find a lot of options, like the Wilhelma Zoo, the federal gallery, the museum for modern art, etc... But it is also absolutely wonderful for shopping. Those who shop in Stuttgart will find everything they want. On Königstraße you will find countless exquisite stores and in some parallel streets you will find inexpensive up and coming designer boutiques.
Ski: Smaller ski regions can be reached in about 30 minutes by car, larger ski regions can be reached in 1.5 hours (Allgaeu, large Feldberg, etc.).
Golf: Nearby you will find 2 golf courses (Castle Solitude and Castle Nippenburg) - more offers are available on the websites.
