Location: Castagneto-Carducci in Italy
Car: not necessary
The beach in front of the house is free to use. To the north there is a “bagno” where one can hire loungers and deckchairs with sun umbrellas, and to the south the beach belongs to a hotel where one can use the pool and other facilities on payment.
The beach is in front of the house and behind it is the promenade which is of course a pedestrian zone in the summer (vehicles are only allowed to load and unload) There is a lot to see and do during the summer months, also concerts and cultural events that attract visitors in the evenings.
There is an amusement park for children up to 12 years of age and further offers such as roller skating rink and trampolines enlarge the appeal of the village. Another large attraction are the many restaurants, pubs and cafés, to a large extent also on the water’s edge, e.g. “Il Poeta” for a wonderful evening meal, or the more rustical “La Zattera” for a glass of wine with a view over the sea. Near the motorway for day trips to Pisa, Florence.
