Golf:
Baviera Golf: Near Torre del Mar is approximately 15 minutes away by car. Baviera Golf is situated in the Anacrusis approximately 2 km East of Torre del Mar, near Caleta del Velez. The course opened in 2001 and was designed under the direction of Jose Maria Commissaries. The course is a challenge for a all levels of play, from the beginner to the professional. Anoreta: Located just outside Rincon de la Victoria and approximately 25 minutes by car. For further details go to their website.
Club de Golf Los Moriscos: There is also a golf course at Salobrena near Almunecar.

Marina del Este near La Herradura: Peñón de las Caballas (Mackerel Rock), has been developed into the Marina del Este, a moderate-sized sports port with around 220 moorings. The port is a popular venue, particularly in summer, with restaurants, bars and shops to entertain visitors.

Playa Burriana: Burriana Beach, Nerja's main beach is a 5 minute drive away and offers a host of activities for those who want to relax on a sun bed to the more adventurous who fancy Scuba Diving, pedaloes or water skiing. You will find a large variety of restaurants, bars, and small shops along the beach-side promenade, including Ayo's famous paella restaurant.
Playa Torrecilla: For a quieter scene try Playa Torrecilla. Located at the bottom of town center, Torrecilla has undergone substantial renovation to make the area wider. The result is the sea is much calmer and an ideal beach for young children as the water is very shallow and the sand soft.
Playa el Salon: Salon beach is a very pretty bay located to the right of the Balcon de Europa, reached via a windy cobbled walkway, that runs off the Balcon between the hotel and the church. Playa el Salon is one of Nerja’s best-kept secrets. Many regular visitors never find this beach.
