This delightful tipical mallorquian villa (a socalled finca) is located just 800 mtrs from the sea front and only 2 km from the popular resort of Puerto Pollensa, offering sandy white beaches and a wide selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. Attractively furnished in a rustic style, Can Maqué is set on one level and comprises of a pretty entrance hall and a comfortable lounge featuring a fireplace, dining facilities and satellite TV, and the newly re-furbished kitchen is complete with dish washer, oven/hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. The 3 bedrooms consist of 1 double and 2 twin rooms, which all share 2 full bathrooms. Set in peaceful surroundings, in a quiet countryside neighbourhood, the partly covered terrace overlooks the pool and the well kept gardens (approx. 300 m2), and to complete your stay the villa is equipped with a poolside shower, barbecue and sun loungers. A washing machine, iron + board are also provided.

Weather info: May, June and September are the best months to visit Mallorca, offering generally good weather without the searing summer heat of July and August. The winter months are temperate and perfect for outdoor activities, but can see significant rainfall.

Markets: There are weekly markets in villages all over the island, and these act as the perfect showcase for the wealth of artisan talent in Mallorca. They offer household goods, fruit, vegetables, cheese, meats, flowers etc. The markets take place in the morning around 08.00 – 13.00, on the following days: Alcudia: Tuesday and Sunday - Puerto Pollensa: Wednesday - Inca: Thursday - Pollensa: Sunday

We have just returned from a very relaxing stay at C'an Maque. The villa was everything we expected from the description, spotlessly clean with a nice basic welcome package for a first cup of tea, or glass of wine! Our early arrival was not a problem and Tine visited next day to see all was well. She assured us we only had to contact her if we needed to but was unobtrusive for the rest of our stay.
We have used villas before in this area, which we love as it seems to have just about everything for a really relaxing holiday. Lovely beaches and a good range of shops and restaurants. Our favourite restaurant is 'Trio's' set a couple of streets back from the Pine Walk that has a 3 course set meal with drinks for about 16 euros as well as an a la carte menu.
We would definitely recommend this property to anyone, and our only problem was not understanding that the cooker top settings were the opposite to ours at home, ie 6 was simmer and 1 was the hottest! It took ages to cook our pasta --- but it was the only meal I cooked all week!
We had excellent weather ( a bonus) and spent many happy hours on the patio congratulating ourselves on our choice! We will be back ------
