Casares Del Mar is a small select development of about 70 apartments, all front-line facing the Mediterranean Sea. Apartment A8 is at ground floor level with a large sun terrace facing south-west with unobstructed views along the beach towards Gibraltar and the North African coastline in the distance. The development is situated within the district of Casares and the nearest town is Estepona 11Km along the coast towards Marbella. Behind the coast road the countryside is mostly majestic mountains stretching the length of the Costa Del Sol. Fashionable Marbella and Puerto Banus are a 20minute drive along the coast, and Gibraltar is a 20 minute drive the other way. A short drive away is the town of Casares, one of the most photographed towns in Andalucia, perched precariously on the side of a mountain. An hour's drive takes you to Ronda, a beautiful city in the mountains with spectacular and breathtaking scenery. From Algeciras you can take a short ferry trip to Tangiers, Morocco.

Local Restaurants and Facilities

There is a wealth of good restaurants to suit all tastes, wine bars and beach bars. There are a number of good supermarkets in Estepona and in the nearby village of Sabinillas. A short walk along the blue flag beach from the apartment are steps up to a small store selling basic provisions, wines and beers and newspapers etc. 3Km along the coast is the upmarket port of Duquesa with its luxurious yachts and sailing boats surrounded by shops restaurants and bars. Estepona has a lovely old town with winding cobble streets and lots of interesting little shops, bars etc. there is also the wonderful promenade stretching the entire length of the town and serving a long sandy beach with beach bars, beach beds and umbrellas and changing facilities, showers etc. Don't forget to visit the open air markets at Sabinillas and Estepona!

Other Activities Exclusive shopping at Marbella and Puerto Banus, 20 min. drive, Water Park, Wild Animal Park, Prado World - rollerskating, mini golf, trampolines etc

Golf Information:

20 top quality golf courses are within a 30 minute drive (6 courses within 6 minutes) including Valderrama (1999 host of Ryder Cup) Superb all year round climate with winter temperatures averaging 60degrees F (16degrees C) is ideal for golfing breaks and Casares Del Mar is right in the middle of the 'Costa Del Golf'
