Hameau du Perigord is a 250 year old Perigordine farm situated in five acres of lawn and meadows overlooking the valley of the river Dropt between the medieval towns of Eymet, Castillonnès and Bergerac. The hamlet comprises two stone holiday cottages ( Roxane for 6 persons and Cyrano for 8) and the main farmhouse lived in by the owners. There is a beautiful large swimming pool 14m x 8m and smaller children's pool surrounded by an attractive terrace and landscaped gardens. The cottages are situated such that they each maintain privacy and independence with their own access and outlooks.

• Special price of £325 for groups of up to 4 persons out of main season.
  Additional persons £75 per week.
  A flat rate for winter heating of £35 per week is charged.

  Pool heating is available in spring and autumn for £50 per week.

Cycling Holidays

Cycling, be it cross-country or on road, is a popular activity in the Dordogne. The gentle hills and patchwork countryside dotted with picturesque villages, farms and châteaux make cycling an excellent way of exploring the country. The country roads have little traffic even in the summer months, ensuring your riding is safe, without stress and healthy for all. A number of cycle circuits have been adapted and traced from Hameau du Perigord to suit different cycling activities and expectations: - Cross-country and track: As the ancient bridleways and footpaths of the Dordogne are increasingly being reclaimed and restored, so is the activity of cross-country or all-terrain cycling becoming easier and more pleasurable. - Road and track: From short and gentle ‘family’ rides to serious amateur runs of up to 80-100Km, a number of circuits have been elaborated. Of varying distances and difficulty but always orientated with the intererest of the cycling visitor in mind.

Art class and painting theme

Residential art classes are available at Hameau du Perigord for amateur artists (all levels) wishing to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings of the Perigord in pursuit of their interest. Courses are provided for residents of Hameau du Perigord two or three mornings or afternoons in the week by an accomplished local French artist who regularly exhibits his work. Subjects are varied and can cover several styles including figurative and colourist using oil, pastel, gouache or sanguine materials.
