Cortijo La Catitera:
Catitera is an old farmhouse, which was once used as an inn for travellers bringing horses down from Cadiar to the Lecrin valley and Granada. It still has its own bodega complete with huge oak barrels which one day we hope to fill with the wine from Catitera. The house has been beautifully restored in keeping with its surroundings, it is very spacious with several large terraces and a 10x5m pool.
Las Alpujarras:
The Alpujarra is reputed to have the freshest air in Europe; the countryside is magnificent with picturesque villages perched on hillsides covered with woodland and everywhere dominated by the Sierra Nevada. It’s an extraordinary place of contrast, with its sun and snow, situated halfway between historic city of Granada and the beaches of the Mediterranean.
