Chalet de Marie is a new chalet apartment block built 2007/8 right oppsite the Panthiaz lift connecting Chapell to Chatel and the Portes du Soleil. The apartment is self catering with 2 bedrooms and a Coine Montagne (bunk beds) sleeping 6 with bathrom and seperate WC and large living aea,there is also a ski and boot locker. Lessons, ski hire, lift passes & transfers to and from Geneva Airport (about one & half hours), can be arranged if required. Both Chappell and Chatel are pretty villages on the boarder of France & Switzerland with plenty of Shops Restaurants & Bars just a few minutes walk from the chalet, there is also a large Supermarket close by. It is an ideal summer holiday rental as there are plenty of activities such as Walking, Mountain biking, Parascending, White river rafting, Swimming, & riding the 'Fantasticable', a high speed, high level, cable ride across a mountain valley. The chair lifts are also open in the summer for Walkers and Mountain bikers.

Chalet de Marie is part of a new developement of 3 large Chalet apartment blocks situated right opposite the Panthiaz bubble lift (linking with Super Chatel, Torgon, and all the Portes du Soleil), betwen the villages of Chapelle d'Abondance and Chatel. The village of Chapelle is a 10 minutes walk away with plenty of Restaurants and Chatel is only 5 mns away by car, there is also large supermarket nearby and a small one within walking distance. The shuttle bus to Chatel and other ski lifts stops just 50mtrs away. Chatel links to the massive Portes du Soleil ski area with skiing for all abilities in winter and walking and mountain biking in summer. It is a full days drive from the channel ports (approx 10 hrs) or about one and a half hours drive from Geneva airport (transfers can be arranged)

Ski: The apartment is located right opposite the Panthiaz lift connecting with Chapelle, Super Chatel, Torgon(Switzerland) and the remainder of the Portes du Soleil Ski area.There is also a shuttle bus that stops nearby which connects with other parts of Chapell, Abondance, and Chatel. It is only a 5 mins drive to the Linga or 10 minutes to the Pre-La-Joux connecting directly with Avoriaz . All areas have skiing for all levels with plenty of ski schools available.
