The Villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden and multiple terraces allowing a perfect blend of indoor and outside life. The villa has three double bedrooms. Upstairs with twin beds and a private bathroom. Downstairs two bedrooms with garden view and one with French window access to garden terrace. There is a second bathroom with shower and separate toilet. Fully equipped kitchen with, cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and dishwasher, opening to large living room with log fire and two double doors to the main terrace. A separate utility room houses the washing machine. The swimming pool (10x5) is surrounded by fruit trees. In the garden there are plenty of places to sit out in sun or shade. You can choose to dine under the Platane Tree or in the wonderful summer kitchen.

Agde is one of the oldest towns situated at the junction of the beautiful river Herault and the Canal du Midi, only 10 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea with its sunny sandy beaches. Lively open markets and a maze of picturesque streets with a variety of restaurants and shops offers the best of the Languedoc tradition. Yet, it takes only 10 minutes to reach Cap D'Agde with its lively marina, cinema's and night clubs. Historical places like Carcassone, Pezenas, Sete and the Camarque are all within an hour's drive. The Villa is situated between Agde and the sea and both are within walking or cycling distance.

  • Rental includes gas, electricity, garden and pool maintenance, linen, and welcome pack on arrival.
    Bookings run from Saturday (access from 5pm) to Saturday (departure by 10.00 am). A 35% non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance is payable no later than 8 weeks prior to arrival. A damage deposit of Euro 500 is required at the time of payment of the balance of the rental fee. This deposit is refundable less any amount required for damages, breakages, or additional cleaning costs.

At the highest point you will enjoy stunning views of the Mediterranean. The facilities include a professional driving range, many practice areas and a short 9 hole course as well as a club house, golf shop, bar and restaurant. An excellent alternative is provided by the professional 18 holes, par 72 course of Beziers: Saint Thomas. This well designed golf course has its own particular personality of interest to all levels of players, from the beginner to the very experienced. Gorgeous Villa in Grau D'Agde

We hardly left the villa during our week - it was fabulous. 4 kids under 10 years all loved it - which meant parents and grandparents did too! Loads of space, fantastically well equipped, gorgeous pool and garden, very private, glorious weather, tomatoes and herbs growing like weeds in the garden. What more could you want?!

We were very, very late arriving (beware traffic in the area - it's absolutely shocking at all times) and the owner went to Hyper U hypermarket (an experience in itself, as we were to discover) to get us in provisions - a wonderful and generous welcome.

Although you need a car to get around, traffic was appalling and just getting to the beach was a mission (especially heading west on the bridge over the Herault). That said, why bother? The villa was lovely - it far exceeded expectations. We had a most relaxed week. Batteries fully recharged.

Do book if you want to visit the restaurant just down the road on rue Saint Vincent - and take your boules so you can play between courses.
