Photos and Description of this Bagnols-en-Foret holiday villa

The house itself has a spacious entry and a spacious living with an open fire place, a dining table that can be stretched to 2.40m, enough chairs, two sofa?s, a stereo, satellite TV. The kitchen is large enough to accommodate a nice kitchen table and chairs; it contains all modern gadgets like dish washer, microwave oven, gas oven and a coffee machine. French doors lead to a terrace with a large table and 8 chairs. The whole interior has been redecorated in a Provencial style. An interior decorator had done a great job in creating an authentic Provencial atmosphere by blending old with new, and selecting matching Provencial fabrics for the curtains, chair covers, bed covers. We were lucky to find a painter, skilled in applying local techniques for the walls and furniture. Adjacent to the house we have a studio, that is not being used. Apart from the studio and the terraces, the house is about 160m?.

Location: Bagnols-en-Foret in France

Bagnols en Forêt has about 2000 inhabitants. It is located on a hill in an area with lots of forests. It is rather quiet because it lacks large roads with traffic passing through. Yet the town itself is lively. It has two bakery stores, a well sorted butcher, and two grocery stores with lost of fine foods from the area, five restaurants, a cooperative wine cellar, a post office, tourist office, and a nice main square with several terraces. Plenty of choice to do your daily shopping. The large supermarkets are located in Fréjus and Fayence, at 18 and 12 km. distance. There you also find the large shopping centres.Our house is situated on the edge of a hill just outside Bagnols; You can look for miles ahead towards the south west, west, north and north east. The yard and the location of the swimming pool are designed to give optimal privacy.
