As Featured on the cover of the 2008 book, "Living Retro" by Andrew Weaving, this 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath mid century modern Palm Springs house has spectacular views plus a private saltwater pool & spa. This 2,000 sq ft home is located in prestigious Twin Palms Estates. It is an authentic Alexander home that has been meticulously redesigned to capture the glamour of the 1950's while pampering guests with today's amenities. The facade has a striking resemblance to the original renderings by architects' Krisel+Palmer. The interior boasts the exact layout of the original Alexander home, and the furnishings are all in the 1950's and 1960's modern style. You can choose from several areas on the property to relax or dine in, and each bedroom has a private patio, all with views abound.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, two night stands, dresser, TV VCR, DVD and sliding glass doors to the large covered patio. It's sofa, coffee table and chairs make you feel like you have your own formal living room in your bedroom. The ensuite bathroom has a voluminous double Grohe shower head, large skylight and two sinks.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed, 2 nightstands, dresser and sliding glass door to a patio. The third bedroom has a full bed, nightstand, desk, desk chair and sliding glass door to a patio.
The Great room has plenty of stylish modern seating, a gas fireplace and east-facing floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors that let in plenty of Palm Springs' sunshine. For your entertainment, the great room has a TV, DVD and stereo system with speakers in almost every room of the home. The fully equipped kitchen has a counter with two stools, dishwasher, microwave and icemaker. In addition, the inside dining table seats 4. There is also an outside bar off the kitchen which seats 2. The backyard has a large saltwater pool and spa, a gas BBQ, lounge chairs and ample seating and outdoor dining furniture. It also has great views of Mount San Jacinto. The pool cabana houses a dvd only, as well as a game table and games. The cabana is a great room to relax and find some quiet.
