This newly restored farmhouse retains many traditional features, including chestnut beamed ceiling (Apt 2) and open fireplace (Apt 3). The property is situated on terraced land and each apartment has it’s own separate entrance from garden. Set in the charming Garfagnana valley, by the country road leading to Barga (3km), it is exposed to an enchanting view over the terraced vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees, onto the beautiful Apuane marble mountains beyond. The stream La Corsonna borders the garden. 20 mins walk from the friendly medieval market town of Barga, from a short cut across the fields and over the foot bridge on the stream.

Apartment 3
Beautiful location, super views from bedroom windows. Down side apartment 3 is very close to the busy road. Apartment 3 is not quite as nicely decorated and funished as apartment 1 and 2, but that did not detract from the holiday. A good place to chill-out.
The owner is a super guy, very helpful and accomodating.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers
