The villa, which can sleep up to 8 people, lies in a very quiet area, on a dead-end way, very close from Nice. It enjoys a gorgeous view on the Baie De Villefranche, on the Cap Ferrat and on the Baie de Beaulieu. The stepped garden that surrounds it is a playground well appreciated by children. The living room opens up on terraces where you can enjoy your lunch almost all year round, have dinner during hot summer nights or just read your newspaper in front of one of the world's nicest panoramas... The villa is the haven of peace and coolness where you can enjoy relaxing after going to the beach, visiting museums, hiking in the countryside or the coast noise...

Location: Villefranche-sur-Mer in France

The villa sits above the Moyenne Corniche (cliff road), at an altitude of about 200 metres. It is 0.9 mile from the Villefranche pass, where starts the city of Nice, and 9 miles from Monaco. Villefranche, Beaulieu and Cap Ferrat beaches are 10-15 minute drive by side roads, even in summer. Possibility to walk until the seaside but the way back is harder (more than 400 steps)... You can get your day-to-day groceries in the Col de Villefranche (within walking distance), which has a mini mart, a newsagent, a bakery, a butcher shop and a pharmacy. You can also go to Beaulieu, Villefranche and Nice where everything can be found. The Avenue Raquel Meller ends in a deadlock 50 metres from the villa, in front of which parking is very easy. There is hardly any traffic. A car is needed.

  • The large bathroom ensuite to the large bedroom has a wash-hand basin and a toilet. The bathtub that serves as a shower has a thermostatic valve. It was made digging in the ground; we access it going 2 steps down. A handrail makes its access easier. An additional heater completes central heating if necessary. A shower room is on the landing, with wash-hand basin and toilet. The shower also has a thermostatic valve.

  • including - 1 Baby Crib, 1 Double Bed, 4 Single Beds, 1 Sofa bed/Futon
  • The large room (26 square metres) has a 160x200 cm bed, each side of which can be raised automatically, with a bathroom ensuite. It opens up on a small terrace by a patio door; another window opens up on the sea. The "red" bedroom (14 square metres) has two 90x190cm beds that can be put together, along with a window looking out on the garden. Another bedroom is known as "Bateau" (ship), it has an 80cm-wide and a 70cm-wide bed. The bedroom is completely panelled and quite low ceilinged. We access it by a very steep 7-step stairway like in a boat cabin; generally, children really like it.... A 150x190 sofa bed is also available in the dining room.

Notes: The villa has 3 floors linked by easy staircases, suitable for able-bodied elderly people: - ground floor at the avenue level, with a locked utility room on your right (washing machine and central heating gas boiler) where you can store for instance your golf bags or your beach stuff. First floor with terraces, the living room widely opens up on outdoors and the kitchen, where you can have your meals; this floor is completely tiled and easy to upkeep. Second floor, which comprises of bedrooms (entirely fitted with carpet) and bathrooms. In order to make the most of terraces, we make available a padding pool for children as well as all you need to provide you light in the evening, notably candle jars.
