Villa built on an acre plot with an automatic gate, in the countryside but not isolated. The property sits at the foot of a green hill planted with olive trees and sunflowers and boasts 2 pools heated from April to the end of October, nestled in a spot sheltered from the wind: one pool is 11x5m and the other is 5x3m and has an overflow. Both are shared and safe for young children. Flowers, lawns, fruit trees and lavender scent the air...The Belgian owners have lived in Provence for several years. They will be happy to help you discover the secrets and unusual hideaways of the region. They will provide information at the start of your holiday. Light family entertainment on site! (Table tennis tournament, pétanque, darts, various children's games). Cleaning and linen hire available, and you can request breakfast as a one off or for the whole holiday.

The villa is ideally located in Mazan, 20 min maximum from the region's best known sites: the magnificent villages in Gordes and their little stone huts (bories), Bonnieux, Roussillon and its ochre quarries, Sénanque Abby, Re-emergences of Fontaine de Vaucluse, the famous antique market in Isle sur la Sorgue, Colorado Provençal near Roussillon, the cedar forests, the Claparèdes plains with its superb fields of lavender, Ménerbes, Lourmarin and Lacoste chateaux, the Lavender Festival in Sault etc). The small, Provencal town of Mazan is lively. Within a 2 min walk from the villa you'll find several small shops, cafés and reputed restaurants (e.g. Restaurant " L'oulo" and " Le Château du Marquis de Sade") as well as several supermarkets around the village and in Carpentras, a farmers' market on Mondays and a Provencal market on Fridays in Carpentra - highly esteemed within the region. The TGV train station is 15 miles away in Avignon. Marseille airport is 48 miles away.

  • Damage deposit : 300 €
  • Advance payment : 30% of the rental price.
  • The prices shown are for 8 people. There is a charge of 100 EUR per week (inc. taxes) for any additional guest. Holiday tax is not included in the listed prices, which is 0.50 EUR/person/night, nor is the cleaning at the end of the stay which is 50 EUR inc. taxes. We request a deposit of 300 EUR on arrival which is returned at the end of your stay providing there has been no damage or breakages. The cost is payable in three instalments, the first on booking, the second usually on 30 April and the last one month before you arrive. The booking is confirmed when the first payment is received and when the contract is signed. Bedding hire is 10 EUR (inc. taxes) per bed and linen is 6 EUR (inc. taxes) per person. Off-peak, electricity and heating are billed according to the meter readings.

  • The bathroom is fitted with a large bath, a unit with a lit mirror, storage for toiletries and for linen, a WC and an electric heated towel rail which also heats the bathroom. There is a shower room with a shower cubicle, sink and electric heater. There is also a second separate WC.

  • There are 3 beautiful bedrooms in the villa: one double and 2 twin. Each room has storage and a wardrobe. The beds are provided with pillows and white duvets. A white leather sofa bed is available to sleep two, allowing 8 people to stay all together. The bedding is new (2006) and comfortable. A collapsible baby cot is available to guests on request. Bedding and towels can be rented for 10 EUR inc. tax for bedding and 6 EUR inc. tax for towels (per person).

Notes: The property is accessed by an electric gate which requires a code to open it. You will enjoy the large lawn planted with trees where children and scamper about. You can play table tennis on the great table which is available to guests and there is a children's play area with a swing and a slide where little children can enjoy themselves. You can bring your laptop and surf the internet with our WiFi connection. There is also a DVD player. As for the secured pools, the little ones can splash about in the smaller pool to the sound of the small waterfall from which they can admire the beautiful green hills and listen to the wind blowing through the leaves of the olive trees and to the singing crickets. The children's pool is linked to the main pool by a small river, which is also heated and bordered by a waterfall.
