This spacious ground floor garden apartment in a private villa is in an excellent location, just 2min drive to either Altea or Albir with their many shops, restaurants and beaches. The apartment has its own private 8m x 4m pool. The large garden has many fruit trees, shrubs, palm trees etc. and the large barbecue area / outdoor kitchen has ample seating shaded by a huge pine tree. There are many shaded and sunny areas to sit and relax. The lounge / dining room leads onto a large private terrace with extra seating. The lounge has a television, DVD player and radio. The kitchen is equipped with a four ring gas hob, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and coffee maker etc. The full size bathroom has bath and shower. Both bedrooms have large size built in wardrobes. The bed-settee would accommodate a fifth guest in the lounge if required. The apartment is situated in a lovely quiet residential area which has two or three restaurants within walking distance and health & tennis clubs nearby.

The old town of Altea is one of the most beautiful on the Costa Blanca. Pretty, white washed houses line the medieval streets leading up to the magnificent, centuries old, blue domed church of La Virgen de la Consuela. Stylish shops & boutiques line the narrow streets interspersed with restaurants & bars to suit every taste & pocket, or just relax & enjoy the views, over a glass of wine at any one of the cafes in the church square. The seafront restaurants are ever popular all offering excellent value for money & varied menus. Altea also boasts a concert hall, hosting musical events. The local train 'the lemon express' (FGV) will take you to Alicante in the south, & Denia in the north, & every beach in between, the views are superb. The local attractions are Terra Mitca theme park, Aqualandia (Waterworld), Mundomar (Sea World) & are within 10 min drive. There is a different market every day of the week & at weekends there is the popular El Cisne market with live jazz and good food.

  • Euros and pounds are accepted. Rental rates include gas, water, electricity, linen & towels, but not beach towels. The accommodation is cleaned and linen is changed weekly, towels are changed as required.
    Rates are based on a maximum of four people sharing, it is not possible to exceed this number.
    A £100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance, plus a further £150 refundable deposit against loss, damage, breakage etc. will become payable six weeks prior to your arrival date. The apartment will be available from 3pm on your day of arrival and must be vacated by 11am on your day of departure.

  • The bathroom is bright and spacious . It is fully tiled and houses a large white sink with large spot -lit mirror over, matching white suite consisting bidet, toilet and bath with shower over. The window over looks the garden and is fitted with a Venetian blind and shutter.

Bedroom 2 is also a good size room with twin beds and with large fitted wardrobe, bedside cabinets, mirror etc. The large window looks out to the side garden with bougainvillea, palm trees etc. Both bedrooms have curtains and shutters. A wooden cot is available if required.

The swimming pool is not gated, therefore we cannot recommend toddlers or young children, as they may wander unaccompanied into the pool area. The garden is large and does contain cactus plants with sharp needles; a possible danger to younger children. Please note that the apartment is strictly non-smoking.

Altea: is a beautiful 16th century Spanish town with its famous landmark Moorish Church with blue domed roof, perched at the top of a hill. The Church square has beautiful views down to the Mediterranean Sea & Marina. Altea is regarded as the cultural centre of the Costa Blanca renowned for it's artists. The University of Fine Arts is situated here, as is a Concert Hall hosting regular theatre and musical events. The palm fringed promenade is popular with families out for an evening stroll, deciding which of the many restaurants to choose. The adjacent town centre has plenty of shops, bars, banks, tapas bars and even wine from the barrel if you prefer!

Other Activities: Boating, and easy reach of theme park. Waterworld and two concert halls.

The property was lovely. It was the outside space that did it for us. It was sooo beautiful and well kept. The pool is lovely but is deep so not suitable for very young children. My daughter is 7 and could only just tip toe with head back but she can swim! Keith and Angela the owners are a fantastic couple, very welcoming, helpful and definitely go the extra mile! We have never driven on the other side of the road before and therefore did not pluck up the courage to hire a car. Probably would be better to have a car but having said that you could walk to the nearest supermarket 15 to 20 mins, albeit uphill on the way back. The supermarket stocked everything you needed at very reasonable prices. We also found a short cut that took you to the beach front of Albir and to a recommended Rib restaurant (30 mins). Have to taxi back though as the road to the villa not lit at night. We got the bus to Benidorm a couple of times too. Takes only 40 mins, if you want a bit of "light hearted" fun. Walked through the orange groves up to Altea old town too (takes about 1 hour but a beautiful walk.)

Can't say enough about this place and can't think of any negative comments.

Secluded relaxation

My wife and I had a wonderfull relaxing break. There is so much outdoor space that we only ventured inside to sleep.
The outdoor cooking facilities are first class and there were differant area's to sit or dine dependant on where the sun was or if you required shade. The secluded pool area was great for cooling off. An orchard is available for fresh fruit,my wife can recommend the grapefruit as she had one most mornings. A car is really essential as a walk to the front takes around 15mins but it is uphill on the return journey and quite tiring. We found a wonderfull restaurant around a 10 min walk away called Mr X's and the fish restaurants at Calpe are excellent value. There are many area's to explore close by. Do not miss a walk up the hill to the church in Altea the views are spectacular. You can sit in the square and have a cool beer or wine.

A great place for a relaxing holiday.

Had a week at this villa and couldnt come home more relaxed. A great place to chill and relax and has everything you could need. Angela and Keith were a great couple and very helpful looking after all our needs. They even took us out at the start of our holiday to show us around the places and gave us names of best places to eat etc. The location of the place is excellent as it is between two beautiful towns and also very nearby Benidorm for people looking for some extra hussle bussle. All in all a great place to go. Thanks Angela and Keith for a great place to stay!!!!
