Tully House is an uniquely designed property on extensive grounds situated near the village of Middleburg in Northern Virginia, 1 hour from downtown Washington DC. Though located just in the country, there are numerous stores, shopping and restaurants within a 15 minute drive. The location offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the beautiful countryside and towns of Northern Virginia whilst neighboring the Nations Capital, Washington DC. The house was designed and built by a renown architect and offers many interesting features including the Hyperbolic Paraboloid Roofing, huge rooms, three wall to floor stone fireplaces, custom iron stairway, gourmet kitchen. The interior has been tastefully remodelled and the furnishings inspired by the Eames era (you'll love the ball chair!). First reaction from guests as they enter the house is usually 'WOW'. 2006 was a great 1st year of rentals, we booked up by spring and everybody loved the house.

Rental rates for the house

Notes to the rental rates

• Booking: To make your booking, you must complete our booking form. This should be signed by the first named client (who must be at least 21 years of age) on behalf of all persons named on the booking form. The first named client will be responsible for all payments due in respect of the arrangements purchased. .
  
• Deposit: A deposit of 30% is required when booking your vacation (unless booking 8 weeks or less before the reservation, in which case full payment must be made at the time of booking). The balance of the rental cost and the security deposit will be required 8 weeks prior to your rental period commencing. . Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer or for an additional fee credit card via Paypal in US Dollars. Guests who fail to pay their final rental by the due date may lose their booking, and their deposit.
  
• Security Deposit: A security/damage deposit of $300 is required to be paid along with your balance payment to guard against any damage done to the house during your occupancy. During the occupancy of the house the party leader agrees to accept full liability for all loss or damage caused by any member of their party and confirms that the full cost of repair or replacement will be met.

The house was built by a renown architect and offers many interesting features including the Hyperbolic Paraboloid Roofing, 2 storey rooms, 3 stone fireplaces, custom iron stairway, designer kitchen. The interior has been tastefully remodelled and the furnishings inspired by the Eames era (you'll love the ball chair!). There are 2 bedrooms (king and the double) located at one side of the house (The master bedroom has an in-ground hot tub in the ensuite bathroom), 2 further bedrooms at the other (2 singles and a queen). There are 2 separate dining areas. A table in the kitchen with 8 chairs, plus bar stools, and a formal dining area off the main living room which seats 6. There are 3 living rooms on the main floor: a grand 2 storey main room with wood ceilings and cherry floors, arched windows and a stone fireplace, a cosier library with TV, and a further living room with TV and Xbox. Downstairs there is the 60 inch TV and a games room.

Summary

The Christmas and New Year weeks includes a decorated house with a 12ft Christmas tree in the living room, cut wood for the fire, Christmas crackers for 8, bottle of wine and a 2007 white house ornament. We live nearby and are able to assist those new to the United States. A welcome package of milk, coffee and tea is always provided.

100% of deposit refunded if cancelled at least 10 weeks prior to reservation date. 50% of deposit refunded if reservation cancelled at least 6 weeks prior to reservation date.
