Location: Chatel in France

Ski: Portes du Soleil, skiing without limits. The name 'Tore zur Sonne' (gate to the sun) describes this huge ski region south of Genf See. 12 ski regions in Switzerland and France form the largest ski region on the north side of the Alps. This promises countless descents without traffic or long waiting lines on the more than 220 lift stations. There are primarily slopes ranging from medium to easy slopes. Good and athletic riders will find 'their descents'20on very well prepared slopes of all difficulties, on countless moguls or deep powder snow. Due to the convenient geographic location, there is always enough snow from west to north so that there are good snow conditions until the end of April. Day tours through the ski region, lodge evenings followed by torch descents, flood light rides, para-gliding, deep powder and carving classes... await you.
