This beautiful villa, furnished with taste, features a swimming pool 8.5 m by 4.5 m with Roman staircase, surrounded by a large wooden patio where beach chairs await you. A large enclosed garden is landscaped with tropical accents. Situated 20 minutes from Montpellier as well as from several beaches, the villa permits access to culture, shopping and relaxation under sunny skies. Several hikes and cultural outings are possible thanks to the villa?9s location between the regions of Cathare and Cévennes. For a more athletic person, the proximity of hikes amongst the garrigue (scrublands) or the vineyards, in a calm and relaxing setting allow the discovery of the beautiful Mediterranean vegetation. This holiday home is ideal for family vacations (baby crib available) or with a group of friends to discover the charm of the South of France. Tourist brochures and hiking ideas are available at the villa. It is possible to rent linens or have a cleaning service on demand.

Between Montpeller and Sommières, with immediate proximity to the garrigue (300 meters away are paths that lead up to Mount Aigoual, in Cévennes), Castries is a pretty heritage village (castle, aqueducts) with all necessary amenities: shops, pharmacy, doctor?9s office, accessible by foot. A large beach bordered by sand dunes and protected by the coastal conservation can be reached by car in 20 to 25 minutes. The Cévennes, the Camargue, the Sète harbour, the Roman ?CGard bridge?D, the Hérault gorge (canoeing and kayaking), and the Vis gorge are great tourist day outings. Also located in the village are 6 tennis courts, open to visitors, and mountain bike trails. A golf course is nearby.

  • Advance payment : 30% of the rental price.
  • During the high season, the villa cannot be rented for less than one week, and two week rentals will be given priority. Possible rentals are available for long weekends in April and May. Long term stays are possible during the low or mid seasons: rates available on demand. There is a possibility to have a cleaning service for after the departure, charged at 85 euros. Linen and towel rental is possible (15 euros for a double bed, and 10 euros for single). Tapering rate for long term stays and promotional rates for last minute reservations are available.

    During the high and very high season, rentals start on Saturday after 4 PM, and the villa must be vacated before 10 AM on the day of departure. During low and mid season, days and hours of arrival can be adapted according to demand.

Two sets of french doors, south and east sides The east one opens to a wooden terrace bordered by large oleanders and an olive tree. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed (140 cm) and a daybed inlaid within a corner bookshelf: Novels, books and tourist brochures are at your disposition. A second bedroom has a bed of 140 cm, sleeping two people. Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms and a games room with mulitple possibilities for sleeping arrangements. The first bedroom is equipped with a trundle bed (2 mattresses, each 90 cm), the second with 2 foldable beds (2 matresses, each 90 cm), the third with one bed of 140 cm. All the bedrooms are equipped with new mattress and wooden slat bed frames for a comfortable sleep.

Visitors say that our villa has a soul. Amateur chefs will find all that is necessary to satisfy their passion: a well equipped cookware set will allow you to cook to your heart?9s desire. When the weather is nice, you will appreciate the position of the kitchen, with french doors that open onto the terrace where you can eat under the shade of the pergola. An herb garden is at arm?9s reach. The barbeque is also nearby for easy grilling. Children will love the garden with the ping pong table and the youngest will love to watch the rabbits and goats through the fence of their adjoining wooden encloure.
