Our chalet is a comfortable unpretentious home where we have spent many happy holidays with our children, in summer as well as in winter. It is sunny and with beautiful views across the valley

Location: Meribel in France

The chalet is about 300 metres from the centre of Méribel Station with the tourist office, ski shops, post-office, banks, baker, ski shops, bars, etc. From the tourist office a piste goes down to the Chaudanne. This is the central point from where the major lifts go, the meeting place for the ski schools, nursery for small children. However, I find it more convenient to take the shuttle service to the Chaudanne, with a stop just below the chalet. Alternatively there is a chairlift the other side of En Garnet going up to the Altiport with easy runs, but connected to the rest of the ski area. The chalet is in the En Garnet condominium with a 'gardien' who keeps access to the chalets clear of snow.

The sitting room has a dining area with a large table and eight chairs, a kitchen area with washing-up machine, cooker, micro-wave, refrigerator, a cupboard.
