Carignan is one house of the estate Les Vignes located at Coustouge in the Aude province, in the middle of the wine area Corbières. Carignan has been built on a superbly located land surrounded by hills and vineyards, on a plateau which overlooks the surrounding area; it accommodates 4-6 people. The estate has a private swimming pool with a spacious sun terrace, available to all guests. Carignan has a spacious living room and two bedrooms. The living room has a small kitchen area with a gas cooker, a microwave oven and all the necessary kitchen utensils. There is a washing machine and an electrical iron in the utility room. A covered porch offers a beautiful view of the surrounding area. The villa has its own small private garden with an outside terrace. Location: Coustouge in France

The Aude is easy to reach by car, by TGV train to Narbonne or by air. Carcassonne (20 min.) and Girona (2hrs. away in Spain) airports are serviced daily by low-cost airlines from many large cities in Europe. Other airports in the area are Toulouse (1 hr 30min), Montpellier ( 1 hr. 30 min.) and Perpignan ( 50 min.) By car you reach Coustouge from Lyon- Nimes - Montpellier via the A9 and the A61 by taking exit 25 "Lezignan-Corbières". There you take the D611 left, direction Fabrezan. You stay on the D611 through Fabrezan until you reach a T crossing. Here you turn left and after about. 800 m. you take a right on the D106 to Coustouge. You find "Les Vignes%?D just before entering the village.(43°02'55,68" N - 2°44'31,31" E) Coming from Girona and Perpignan, you leave the A9 at exit 39, direction Portel. Then you take the D 611 passing through Thézan-des-Corbières in the direction of st-Laurent-de-la-Cabrerisse and turn left on the D 106 to Coustouge.

A convertible sofa-bed in the living room can accommodate two extra guests. Summer nights in the south of France can be quite warm, so both bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioning.20 The total privacy offered by the two bedrooms makes the houses perfectly suited for two couples who like to spend their vacation together with comfort levels of a hotel
