In the heart of the "perigord noir "in the Dordogne, close to numerous castles world famous prehistoric painted caves and other archeological sites: modern yet traditional detached perigordian house, spacious and light, equiped with all facilities. Large terrace over-looking private and securely enclosed swimming-pool (5m x 10m ). The house is surrounded by 4000m2 of well-groomed grounds, boarded by a small shallow pretty stream. Only at 300m away from the Dordogne river, and previously owned by the famous artiste Joséphine Baker, the ground still harbours remains of her African village. Palm trees, bamboo bushes and totem sculptures, together with the stream, renders this place very pleasant and calm . The beautiful Dordogne river is only 300m away for those keen on fishing. Pets welcome
