This comfortable apartment is in the picturesque village of Argentiere, an old village in a lovely setting high in the Chamonix Valley at the end of the Glacier d'Argentiere. It offers an unrivalled choice of skiing for beginners and experts. Around 2,800 acres of ski area rising over 2,000 metres with magnificent views of Europe's highest mountains. For non skiers the regular bus takes you to the busy town of Chamonix where there are numerous bars, shops, restaurants, swimming pool and sports facilities. The apartment looks out onto the spectacular mountain range of the Grand Montet, and Mont Blanc In winter, you can ski in grands montets (altitude 3300m often in powder snow) or brévent-flégère or aiguille du midi (alt 3840m on the "mer de glace"), and also in Courmayeur (Italy).
