Castelli Romani holiday apartment: Rocca Priora, Rome - Castelli Romani

We arrived at Villa Marion in June 2009. It was a special holiday for my husband and ,I as we had a very traumatic previous 12 months, and just needed a special place to recoup. Well, we found that in Villa Marion. The apartment was spacious and spotless, the bedrooms very comfy and loads of storage space. The bathroom was spotless as was the modern kitchen. In fact we could not find any fault with either the apartment or the location. The owners John and Trisha, were so kind and helpful, their knowledge of the area, i.e local restaurants, historical sites, beach locations, etc were faultless, in fact nothing was to much trouble for them. There were plenty of board games to play, the plunge pool was a great relief in the hot weather, in fact if all you wanted to do was sit, relax, read a book or have a dip in the pool, it is idyilic. It was great not being in the centre of Rome with all that hussle and bussle, you could travel in from Frascatti on the train in a matter, of 30 minutes, take in the sites, then have a leisurely train ride back to Frascatti, and a taxi back to Villa Marion, such bliss. If you like more activity, there is horse riding,hiking, swimming, and lots more to keep both adults and children alike happy for many hours. I cannot wait for my hoiliday next year with my grandchildren in tow. We would not hesitate to reccomnd Villa Marion, whether you want to lounge by the pool or be a more active culture vulture., go, rent a car and take in the sites, you will not be dissapointed.
