This is a very original apartment on 2 floors. The access is through a delicious garden with table, chairs and the typical roman “umbrella”. A few stairs at the entrance lead you into the living room with double sofa bed, single bed and satellite TV, as well as a very well equipped kitchen. Upstairs: double bedroom, communicating with single bedroom, and bathroom with tub-shower. This is an elegant building, built by the famous architect Nervi (the same one, who built Sala Nervi in the Vatican, used for the Pope’s audiences on Wednesdays). It is a few steps from the cheap and famous open market Trionfale. It is at 50 metres from station Cipro of tube line A (in 10 minutes you are in Spanish Steps), a 7 minute walk from Vatican Museums, an 8 minute walk from St. Peter, 50 metres from bus 913 (going to Via del Corso, shopping area), 3 minutes walking from shops and supermarkets, restaurant, bar, internet point. In the neighbourhood, there is the ancient and cheapest of Rome open market Trionfale, which takes place every morning except for Sundays. You can live as a roman as this is an authentic roman area and not touristic. You will also find the ancient church San Lazzaro, Villa Pamphili Park, Zodiaco panoramic area with fabulous view (also a restaurant), Engelsburg, Vatican Museums, S. Peter, Via Giulia. There is a 2 minute walk from station Cipro, tube line A (in 12 minutes you are in Spanish Steps), a 7 minute walk from Vatican Museums, an 8 minute walk from St. Peter, 1 minute walk from bus 913 (going to Via del Corso, shopping area), 3 minutes walking from shops and supermarkets, cinema, roman restaurant, bar, internet point. I live in the next building and I am at your disposal to suggest you the best way to enjoy Rome. I think hospitality is an art and the tourist can't waist time. I have 3 houses same area, ak in any case!

Notes: I live in the same area, it has any kind of service, you just need to come and enjoy! Very well equipped house, warm as if you were at home! Very well equipped kitchen, not a touristic house, but a home! For smokers: you can smoke in the garden. Parks: At 10 minutes you have Villa Pamphili, the biggest park of Rome, beautiful oasis for a rest or a pleasant walking after tourism! Or you can bike on the cycling slope along Tevere River. Or in 30 minutes you are at the seaside. At Spagna tube station you can rent bikes to go in the centre!

Restaurants: Sardinian Restaurant at 100 meters, Roman restaurant at 50 m, Chinese restaurant at 50 m. Pizzeria at 50 m, Take away at 200 m, Supermarkets at 100 m, Bar at 20 m. Grocery at 20 m, Internet point at 100 m, just beside tube entrance. Flower market at 10 minutes. Open Trionfale fresh food market every morning at 5 minutes. Very characteristic and cheap, not only food. Church chemist's and hospital at 100 meters.

Market: Trionfale ancient and cheap market every day at 200 mt, very characteristic, not only food. Flower market in Via Trionfale on tuesday morning 10.30pm/1pm. Porta Portese market, very famous, on Sunday, Trastevere area. Villaggio Olimpico market on Fridays Olympic stadium at 10 minutes, Spanish steps at 12 minutes by tube.

Good for a low budget stay in Rome

I went with five more friends and we were just looking for a place to sleep while in Rome with a tight budget... we found it! Mary, the owner, was of great help both with the renting and during our stay, the place was clean but the mattresses were awful! I don´t think they´ve been changed in, at least, 15 years (as the decoration and kitchen appliances). The pictures are accurate and the place is close to the subway (which is great, cause it´s not in the centre of town). For the extraordinary price we paid (divided by 6) it was perfect! But I wouldn´t recommend it for a romantic weekend or if you are looking for a nice stay with kids. But great for friends in a low budget!

- I never met this person
- I own this house since 2 years and I already changed twice matresses so they are almost new
- sofa bed is 4 month old so matresse is quite new
- house is in the centre, in fact you can walk to St Peter and St Angel Castle, Rome is a big city with a big center!
- kitchen is super-equipped
- I have a lot of enthusiastic emails with compliments on my house of tourists who became friends of mine
- my house is appreciated for its "warmness" as it seems to be at home, I put ancient things on the walls and therefore it is normal it has "old" things in it

The apartment is nice and clean and is well equipped with all necessary amenities. The clou is the garden which is perfect for breakfast (and dinner if you make it at home) and for the afternoon drink after having enjoyed the attractions of Rome during the day. Mary's service and helpfullness was excellent with high precision in all arrangekents.

Convenient and Comfortable

We found this property to be very comfortable and clean. It is located very close to the metro, internet cafe, grocery store and restaurants. The owner was extremely helpful in all matters. I would definitely recommend this property to families or small groups. There are stairs, so that is something to consider. Our group had three people, but there is room for two more people to sleep in the living area. We had plenty of room, and it was nice having a fully equipped kitchen. With close access to the Metro, Rome is at your fingertips!
