Tucked away in a courtyard building on Montmartre's rue d'Orsel, this large, bright, spacious one-bedroom apartment has everything to enchant you and put you permanently under its spell. The apartment has been completely remodelled to better suit today's demanding travellers, with a fresh look and a homey feel. You may feel as if you have walked into a 5-star hotel, but in fact you are home (if but for a little while). This is a self-catering apartment, a romantic getaway and a holiday rental dream.

Nearest Airport: Roissy Charles de Gaulles at 23 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Gare du Nord or Gare de l'Est at 2 Kilometres
Car: not necessary
The apartment is located just on the intersection of rue d'Orsel, rue des Abbesses and rue des Martyr and can be reached by either the Abbesses metro station or by metro Pigalle. To avoid walking up the stairs to get to Place de Tetre and Sacre Coeur you can take the Montmartre bus (a little bus which runs on electricity), or use the Funiculaire. Metro line 2 which you can catch at Pigalle is a fast connection to Gare du Nord station (La Chapelle), and to the Arc de Triomphe. Just outside your door, you will find local boulangeries, cafes and bars. No need to wonder far to find something to do or to eat.

About the apartment: Entering the apartment you are instantly aware that you are in a special place. This contemporary dream has everything you could wish for in a modern Parisian home. You find to your right the bedroom which faces the buildings inner courtyard, which makes for a peaceful retreat after a tiresome day of exploring the city of lights. In the bedroom we have installed a TV (for the insomniacs), and a safe so that you can store your belongings if you want. To your left off the entrance hall, there is the modern bathroom with large vanity mirror and a bathtub with shower.

About the apartment: Enter the main room of the apartment where you have the open kitchen, dining area and living room. This is the largest space in the apartment, with windows on both ends giving you double exposure allowing for optimal light at all times of the day and helping to get a nice cooling breeze on a warm afternoon. The living room is a cozy refuge after a long day of sightseeing and explorations of all that Paris has to offer. A large screen TV with cable, DVD player with a selection of DVDs make relaxing easy. The sofa opens out to a double bed to sleep two comfortably. The apartment also provides wireless Internet access with a Mac computer in-house, to allow you to remain in touch throughout your stay. Forget Paris? I think not, after your stay with us, you will never forget your stay in beautiful Paris and Contemporary Living.

Wonderful apartment. Located in one of the most picturesque neighbourhoods of Paris: Montmartre, dotted with excellent bakeries, foodshops, brasseries and cafes. Near several metrostations, so only minutes away from all the major sights. Well equipped.
I truly can't understand why I stayed in hotels on my previous trips to Paris... So much nicer to return to your own ' home' after a long day in the city to unwind a little before going out again. Or to cross the street to the bakery, and have breakfast in your own place with a view to the people in the streets below... Highly recommended!
