Located on a hill in the countryside only 6 miles away from the coast with its natural sandy or stony beaches, and 20 miles from the mountains (nearby is the Maiella National Park; just a little farther you will find Abruzzo's jewel, the Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo), the farm holiday centre 'La Vigna di Ranco' is an ideal place to thoroughly enjoy this beautiful and welcoming Central Italian region. The farm holiday centre 'La Vigna di Ranco' (Ranco’s vineyard) is situated in the countryside, surrounded by a vegetable garden, herbs and fruit trees, only 6 miles away from the coast with its natural sandy or stony beaches, and 20 miles from the mountains. Nearby is the Maiella National Park; just a little farther you will find Abruzzo's jewel, the Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo, a haven for wild animals, trees, flowers and travel-weary tourists. Flora and fauna abound in these protected areas, where thick forests and flowering meadows give way to barren plateaus and snow-capped granite peaks. If you prefer a relaxing day in the sun, natural sandy or stony beaches are an easy round-trip from la Vigna di Ranco. Alternatively, you can reach Isole Tremiti, a beautiful archipelago consisting of five islands off the shores of Apulia's Gargano coast. Its wonderful coast with fjords and caves can be best explored by kaykak or aboard a boat hired from local fishermen.

Additional information about rental rates

  • All prices listed above are intended for an apartment with one bedroom with 2 or 3 beds. The rental prices for larger apartements are higher and vary according to the number of bedrooms and beds as well as the time of the year. The weeks spanning Christmas, New Year's Day, Easter as well as the weekend comprising May 1st are considered high season - weekly rates for the high season are as follows: 550€ for the two-bed apartment, 600€ for the four-bed apartments and 650€ for the six-bed apartment. Please note that such prices are intended for groups of up to six persons for the largest apartment, of up to 4 persons for the two medium-sized apartments and of up to 2 persons for the smallest unit. Every person in excess of the maximum number will be charged an additional 60€ per week. Children aged 10 and below will be exempted from the latter surcharge. A discount will apply in case guests stay one month or longer.
  • Each apartment on our holiday farm 'La Vigna di Ranco' consists of bedrooms, kitchen, sitting room, bathroom, balcony and porch. Rental prices include the following services: weekly cleaning, laundry room with washing machine, garden, central yard, parking space, guided tours to the surrounding area, taxes and bills (from October to late April guests will be charged for gas consumption based on an actual meter reading). No pets are allowed. Distances: 10 kilometers from the beach, 2 kilometers from the village, 30 kilometers from the nearest mountain, 50 kilometers from the nearest airport. Guests can easily drive to Rome, Naples or the nearest parks (Parco della Majella, Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo) and back on the same day.
  • The owners may consider requests for shorter stays of at least two nights. In such cases, guests will be charged a daily rate of 30€ per person.
