This is a beautiful elegant apartment with hardwood floors and antique furniture. There are 3 bedrooms: master bedroom with king-size bed and private terrace/ patio, second bedroom with two twin beds taht can become a king-size bed and with direct access to the big terrace, the third bedroom with two twin beds that can be joined if necessary. There is plenty of closet space, ideal for five people, yet can sleep six people. It has two bathrooms, one with a shower, and one with a bath tub, a fully-equipped kitchen, open plan dining and living area, and a wonderful terrace where you can enjoy dining and sunbathing. The large wraparound terrace is furnished with dining table, six chairs, and two long chairs.

The apartment is located in a quiet zone, five minutes walking from the center of this beautiful lakefront town on the Oriental shore of Lake Garda, its history dating back to the Middle Ages with a magnificent Renaissance castle towering over the lake. This is where Goethe had a minor misadventure but nonetheless spoke beautiful words recorded in his 'Travels in Italy'; five minutes from the beach and three from a panoramic cable car that in 12 minutes brings you up to 6000 feet, on top of Monte Baldo, from which you can admire the whole lake,the Dolomites and in clear days all the way to Venice;site of infinite hiking excursions and winter skiing. There is a 1 hour driving to Verona,beloved Shakespeare's town,where in July and August you can enjoy Opera in the 2000-year-old Roman amphitheatre.Surrounded by olive trees this house is an oasis of peace yet just a few minutes away from the night life,shops,restaurant.Verona is the centre of world reknown wine Valpolicella and Custoza.

Ski: There are a lot of great ski areas less than 1 hour driving, including Dolomites.

Golf: Garda Golf in Salo' is one of the best golf course in Italy.

Very close to town, an oasis of peace

We don't know where to start from. This house is so beautiful,clean, comfortable and cosy,the furniture are perfect for the space and very elegant. The hard wood floor makes you want to walk barefoot and the view from the terrace is amazing. Sometimes it feels like you can almost touch Monte Baldo. The beds are extremely comfortable and the handmade tiles in the kitchen are unique. The house is equipped with anything you can possibly need. We recommend this wonderful place to anyone who loves beauty, quiet and comfort.

Perfect base to explore the town

We stayed here in September 09, there were 6 of us in total (and a baby). I was amazed at how big the apartment was when we arrived, having been greeted by Yeshe the American caretaker. We couldn't quite see the lake, but the grounds were very peaceful and pretty. Having breakfast on the patio under Monte Baldo was pleasant.
Unfortunately the dishwasher was broken during our stay but apart from that everything else you could need was supplied, even down to detergent! Nice thought!
My only negative, was that the upstairs neighbours had a dog, which was quite noisey at times, along with it's owners!
Very spacious, more than big enough for 6 adults, and a perfect location with just a short walk (7-10 minutes max) down into town.
Very recommended!

I apologise for the neighbour's dog, the people upstairs were renters and dogs are no longer allowed in the property.So now is very quiet.
The dishwasher broke the day prior your arrival and now there is a new one. Some branches of the olive trees in front have been trimmed so now there is a partial lake view again.

The apartment was wonderful, the view amazing, and Monte Baldo just added that little extra. Lago di Gardo is gorgeous and as runners we had the added bonus of being able to run along the lake while taking in the spectacular view....it was like being in a postcard. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation this is the place for you but this is not to say there isn't lots to do as well. Grazie Laura.

A very welcoming apartment

We had a great time in Malcesine and we enjoyed the apartment very much. We thought it to be very welcoming and felt ourselves at home straight away, caused mainly by the interior, the very nice Buddha, the books and other nice things. Also Yeshe did a great job welcoming us. So thanks again and we´ll come back for sure.

The property more than lived up to its description for comfort, setting and provided us with all we needed in cooking equipment (there is even a kettle!) and bathing facilities. We were met at the ferry by the owners representative who was most helpful and guided us to a good Pizzeria. We found the restaurants in the Piazza Magenta particularly pleasant, but so were others.
We enjoyed Malcesine and would be more than happy to spend another holiday there.
