Photos and Description of this Cesseras holiday house

Cesseras is a lovely typical Minervois village with a nice French Cafe and a general store that also sells bread. You can buy everything you need for a good holiday within a 4km radius. Gite les Volets Verts is in the oldest and (to my eyes) prettiest part of the village. It is built in the walls of the Chateau of Cesseras, which was divided up many years ago and is in the little street that ran between the ramparts and the chateau. Remnants of this period can still be seen protruding from the houses in places in the village. Like many houses in France the gite hides its charms but when you enter you discover a deceptively spacious house built around a sunny terrace so you can enjoy as much the outside as the inside. A well equipped, large dining kitchen on one side of the terrace and a lounge on the other side creates a safe environment for your children, and or pets so you can relax and soak up the sun and atmosphere. This is definitely a family size house with hidden charms.
