Centrally located attic apartment

We found the split level apartment was exactly as described. It was clean and well equipped with a modern kitchen.
It is ideally situated for exploring the historic old city, and only metres from the main shopping streets. There are several bars and restaurants near by, and the busy area of " La Llotja" is only a 5-10 min. walk away.
The large open roof terrace is a bonus, for sun bathing or enjoying breakfast and supper in the open air.
We would reccomend the optional airport collection service offered, as it is both reasonable and convenient, bringing you directly to the front door, without the worry of finding the address in a taxi.
The one drawback, is that due to its attic status there are seventy plus steps to climb to the apartment door. So it would not be reccomended to elderly or infirm travellers, and could prove difficult with a young family. This point is also worth bearing in mind when you are deciding how much luggage to bring.
The only other slight draw backs are; that the shower cubicle is quite small, and there is no air conditioning,but other than that the apartment is practical and fairly roomy for its location and rental cost.
