Located in an old hamlet, along the wine trail, 17 km from the Angers town-center and 35 minutes-drive from Saumur, this cottage is the ideal starting point for tourist outings : the Loire Valley castles, the cave-dwelling villages, the zoo of Doué la Fontaine (15 minutes), the National horse-riding school (Le Cadre Noir de Saumur), and many other places of interest. You will discover the enchanting charm of the Loire, on which the glints of the sun offer a different spectacle each day. For those of you who are fond of sports, you will find plenty of hiking, biking and horse riding paths and many other activities (canoe kayak, etc.)

The rental is usually made from Saturday to Saturday. The property is available from 4 o'clock in the afternoon for arrivals and must be left by the tenants before 10 o'clock in the morning on the departure day. For another arrangement, please contact the owner. The property must be thoroughly cleaned by the tenant before departure or, if you prefer, the owner will do it for a charge of 50 euros. An introduction to oenology with wine tasting and local farm produce can be made by a wine producer. To make your stay as pleasant as possible, a professional aesthetician is at your disposal for home beauty care. These two offers must be arranged before your stay with the owner

Notes to the rental rates

    - Reservation deposit : 25% of the rental price.

    The indicated prices are given for a week. A deposit of 25 percent of the rental is asked to confirm your reservation. It can be in the form of a postal order or credit card. The balance of the rental is due for payment one month before your arrival. On your arrival, you will be asked for a damage deposit of 250 euros, which will be refunded to you on your departure if everything is in the same condition as on your arrival. As far as charges are concerned: 500 l of water and 8Kwh of electricity are included in the rental, which is not enough in the winter to heat the property. Rentals for one night, for a week-end or for a longer period (one month and more) are possible excluding during French School Holidays. For more details, please contact the owner. It is also possible to hire the sheets (8 euros per bed) and the towels (8 euros per person) or 15 for both.

  • The furniture of the shower-rooms was made by a cabinet-maker in old oak for more authenticity and character. Each shower-room is painted in a different color to harmonize with the adjoining bedroom. They are all equipped with a shower, a washbasin, a towel rail and a hair-drier.

  • including - 1 Baby Crib, 2 Double Beds, 2 Single Beds
  • The cottage counts 3 bedrooms with adjoining shower-room and toilets. 2 are on the ground-floor. A particular effort was made on decoration for which a general harmony was looked for. The furniture was bought at antic dealers' shops. The walls of the ground-floor bedrooms were painted with slaked lime and natural pigments. The linen curtains and sheets, the cotton cover beds add more authenticity. The first-floor bedroom offers a view on the garden. It is equipped with 2 beds measuring 90x200cm each, bought in 2006. Both ground-floor bedrooms give access to the garden. They are equipped with one bed measuring 160x200 for the first one and a bed measuring 140x200cm for the second one.
