This small studio, comfortable for one or even two persons for short periods, is located on the same street of Michelangelo’s David. It is at few minutes walking distance from the Middle Age and Renaissance masterpieces of the downtown area: the Cathedral with Brunelleschi’s Dome, Palazzo Vecchio and Loggia dei Lanzi in Signoria Square, Uffizi Palace which hosts one of the most important Museum in the world, the churches of San Lorenzo and Santa Croce. There are very few places in the world where so many masterpieces and nature beauties are gathered together. The studio is bright and quiet and it is on the 4th top floor of a building with lift and porter. The front of the building maintains its ancient aspect. The apartment has private heating, air conditioned, video house phone, satellite TV and armoured entrance door. It has a hall-room, a kitchenette with electric stoves, a comfortable bathroom with shower and a small storeroom. It has a three-quarter bed (size cm 120x195).

The studio is suitable for tourists since they can reach all monuments in few minutes on foot. Excellent restaurants, boutiques, book shops, famous art galleries and antiques are very close. In the meantime you can enjoy the warm and lively atmosphere of San Lorenzo Market, a Liberty covered market, where you can buy typical and fresh food. Medici Palace and San Lorenzo church are in the same area. Bike renting is also possible. Private garage are in the next neighbourhood.

The perfect central studio

I have just spent four marvellous days in Florence in this studio which was so wonderfully central - literally two minutes from the Duomo and a short walk to most of the museums, galleries and churches that I wanted to see. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the owners are delightful and helpful. Although the cooking facilities are basic I still managed to cook myself proper meals which is easier for me as I am a Vegan although if you don't want to cook, there are several restaurants within a short walking distance. I would certainly recommend this for other women travelling alone as the building and the apartment are very safe. As there are lifts I think it would be good too for those who are disabled or infirm. If I return to Florence alone, I would certainly be happy to stay here again.

Perfect little touring base

My boyfriend and I spent a lovely four nights in this compact but very convenient apartment. The Duomo is literally at the end of the street, but the road itself is peaceful with a decent pizzeria opposite. The apartment is small but very clean and comfortable with all necessary equipment (including much appreciated air conditioning).
The owner was extremely helpful with any enquiries both prior to the holiday and during.
I would not hesitate to recommend this property and we would ask for it again if and when we return to Florence.

Fantastic location in the center of Florence, walking distance to everything; stores, historic sights, restaurants, train station, bus, etc. It has a window to the street where you can see the “duomo” and people passing by. After a day of sightseeing you come back to the apartment, rest for a while and strolled down the main street for an ice cream or just to do some people watching and feel like an Italian at home. The studio has all the things you need to feel at home, it is clean, in a very nice building with elevator, perfect for one person. I am looking forward to my next Florence trip.

Great Location, Lovely Hosts

My Boyfriend and I have just returned from a wonderful trip to Florence. We stayed in this appartment and found it to be in the most convenient location, stones throw from the Duomo Cathedral. The owner met us with teh Keys and gave advice on places to see and do in the city. The studio itself is clean and perfectly suited for a couple, or single traveller who intends to use it as a base for exploring the city. I would not necessarily recommend this as a 'self catering' property as such, as the kitchen comprises of a fridge, two electric hobs and a sink. However, we would recommend the pizza from the restaurant opposite the flat and the Mercato Centrale for a range of tuscan products - and who wants to stay in and cook when there is a wealth of traditional italian restaurants on your doorstep!!
