Photos and Description of this St-Gildas-de-Rhuys holiday house

This house, which was fully renovated in June 2007, can sleep up to 8. 2 families could comfortably stay here. The house is located right by the beach but is still peaceful. The living room is very bright (2 sofas, TV, DVD player, HiFi, CD player). The kitchen is quite new and fully fitted (microwave, fridge-freezer, oven, kettle, toaster, rice cooker, cafetière, hob). In the utility room there is a washing machine and a dryer. There is lots of storage in the house. There is also a master suite with double bed (160cm) and en suite shower room + WC, a second bathroom (two sinks, bath) and 3 other bedrooms (one double, two twin). In the south-west facing, enclosed garden there is a sunny terrace, sheltered from the wind, with teak garden furniture, deckchairs and barbeque. Bedding and linen are provided free of charge (duvet covers, blankets, pillow cases, tea towels, bath towels) as well as provisions for a baby.

Location: St-Gildas-de-Rhuys in France

The house sits in a quiet cul-de-sac (called Kerpont) which is just 700 metres from a large, sandy beach (Gohvelins-Rohu). This beach is supervised and hosts a sailing club. There are footpaths and cycle paths near the house. Saint Gildas town is a 5 minutes drive and has shops and a market. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the house, one of which boasts a sea view. The 18-hole golf course is about half a mile away. It is 3 miles to Crouesty harbour and 18 miles to Vannes, a town with ramparts and half-timbered houses. And not forgetting the Golfe du Morbihan an its 365 isles, just a few minutes by car or bike. There are several crossings from Port-Navelo to Belle-ile, Houat, Hoedic, etc.
