Les Arcs-sur-Argens Var: From this location you are within easy reach of the A8 autoroute, the many inland hill top villages, or, to the beaches of the Mediterranaen, With the A8 only 3 km. from the villa, Cannes, Antibes, Nice and Monte Carlo are all within a few hours drive.Or take a drive along the coast road to Port Grimaud know as the Little Venice Of Provence and St Tropez. This area has 7 golf courses. Take time to visit the many vine yards and domains the area has to offer, the Var is famous for it's Rosé wine.
TGV: The railway station is 5 km from the villa, here you can catch a train along the coast either in the direction to Cannes, Antibes, Nice and Monte Carlo even into Italy, or head toward Marseille or even Paris which takes about 5 hours. Just check the time table for the times for the TGV .
BY CAR FROM THE CHANNEL PORTS: TRAVELLING BY CAR THE AUTOROUTE The Auto routes are a fast and direct way to travel through France, they are toll roads and payment can be made in Euro or by credit card. The maximum speed is 130 KPM, but you will find the traffic moves a little faster! There are plenty of rest areas with cafés and petrol stations. Driving in France is straight forward, with regulation and road signs generally similar to those in most West European countries, the U.S.A. AND Canada. The basic rule is to drive on the right, overtake on the left and be extra carefully at roundabouts. Driver must carry at all time, a full driving licence, vehicle registration document and evidence of insurance cover. Check the need of a green card as driving without reduces a fully comprehensive insurance to third party only. ALL PERSONS IN THE CAR MUST WEAR SEATS BELTS.
