Self-catering holiday rental, centrally located in Horta the main city of Faial, but in a secluded quiet area. I bought this house because it is in town and therefore very accessible. Going out and coming back especially at night is not difficult. The area is very quiet, in the morning all you hear are birds. The bedrooms are very large with in-built wardrobes, every room has a bathroom and toilet. One of which is en suite. The previous owner a personally built this house for himself and his family and lived in it until he built and moved into his new home in March 2008. Everything has been done to the highest standard possible. Apartment is tastefully furnished for a very comfortable and relaxed stay.

Nearest Airport: Horta at 10 Kilometres
Nearest Ferry: Horta at 1 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 1.5 Kilometres
The house is located centrally in the city of Horta on Faial, in a secluded and quiet area. It is a residential area, with a bar/corner shop about 500 meters away. The supermarket 'Modelo', is 1.5kms away. A car is not essential, it is a gentle stroll downhill to the main street, (but quite steep walking back). Taxis are about €4.00 from the marina to the house. The route to and from the supermarket is flat, it is possible to go down hill to main street then around to the supermarket and back to the house, about an hour stroll. Down in the city centre, there is the marina which has a bar, the harbour where it is possible to buy fish from one of the auction houses, restaurants, the famous Peter café sport. These are all between 1 and 1.5 kms away from the house
