Our house, named Empuries, is located in one of the quietest neighbourhoods of Sóller and stands at the foot of the breathtaking trekking paths of the Tramuntana’s mountain range, known as the most interesting on the Island. Our neighbourhood breathes a family feeling, where the children play while the elderly chitchat by the old fountain. Empuries’ house is over 300 years old and has been completely renovated. Our first aim in the restoration was to preserve all the traditional elements of the building like the stone olive oil tank from the 17th Century, the ox eye window, etc… Our all seasons holiday rental villa has two apartments: Empuries de Arriba and Empuries de Abajo, both of them with a capacity for four people.

Empuries de Abajo apartment is a duplex. On the ground floor there is an open space with a dining and living room which leads to a gorgeous Mallorquín patio. There is also a toilet and the kitchen. On the first floor you’ll find 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a big terrace with marvellous views on the Tramuntana Range. The master bedroom has a double bed and a direct access to the terrace. The second bedroom has two single beds. Both of them have air-conditioning/heating, viscoelastic mattresses and pillows. There is a bathroom with shower, sink and WC. The living and dining room are in an open space of 30qm with a fireplace, air-conditioning/heating, dinning set for four people, sofa, arm sofas, low tables, … On the kitchen walls you’ll appreciate the crafted stones which used to belong to an old olive oil deposit. It’s a traditional Mallorquín patio with small garden on the backyard. It has a dining set surrounded by native plants like an orange tree.

I would like to recommend this lovely house to spend your holidays in Spain. We felt at home is in this cozy place. We liked the fact that is an old charming place but with the commodities of a new one. We spent a lot of time on the terrace chilling out while admiring the great view. Viewing the sunset while having dinner outside is a must. We also used to have breakfast outside in the morning while weaking up...

The location of the house is perfect for trekking and walking through Empurie's range or other villages in the valley. Also we enjoyed a lot having tapas on the main square of Soller.
