The chalet of wood is positioned in a quiet oasis of a olive and a lemon grove, to 200 m from the sea. It’s an independent house with one living-room with kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 veranda, private car parking. The chalet is surrounded by a garden with biologic products of season (tomato, aubergine, pepper, dwarf marrow) to guest disposition. The near littoral is a long beach of sand and a limpid and safe sea. The entry to the near beach is free, and is possible to come free to our private beach and private swimming-pool and to rent sun-umbrella, sun-bed, there is a miniclub, showers, bar and bar-restaurant on the beach. The private beach and pool is far 1,5 km from chalet. The holiday chalet is 2 km from Capaci centre and 2 km from Isola delle Femmine centre. In the small town of Isola delle Femmine is possible to eat a good local fish in restaurant front the sea; or watch in the morning the fish to auction.

The chalet is in the country of the Capaci. This town is at the sea, is 20 minutes by bus or train from the historic centre of Palermo with the beautiful Cathedral, Cappella Palatina, Massimo Theatre. It is possible to visit the natural marine reserve of Isola delle Femmine-CapoGallo by boat or to go by boat to Fish-Tourism that means leaving the coast at down and heading back to port when the towns and beaches are just starting to stir or to watch the fish to auction. With the car it is possible to go to Segesta Temple or to go to medieval small town Erice, or to visit the wind-mill and salt-plan and wine factory of Marsala or the Mothia Island. Capaci is near Carini, Isola delle Femmine, Sferracavallo, Mondello, Terrasini, Cinisi, Villagrazia, Torretta.

Capaci and Isola delle Femmine:: Capaci has a lot of supermarkets, shops, public parks. Capaci is a small town 12 kilometres away from Palermo. The main attraction is the wonderful beach that offers any kind of tourist infrastructure for the young or old people. There are lots of fish restaurants, bars, shops, tennis or soccer fields, water sport activities (kitesurf, surf, canoe…). In winter the tourism moves to the main square of the town, with a lot local typical and charming locals and taverns.

Car:: Recommended

Palermo and airport distance:: You can reach Palermo in 10 minutes, by car or public transportation (bus or train). Falcone-Borsellino airport is situated 15 minutes far away by car.

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in dem hübschen Chalet. Das Chalet liegt auf dem Gelände der Besitzer, die aber unheimlich freundlich und hilfsbereit sind und sich gleichzeitig sehr dezent im Hintergrund halten. Der kleine Garten, den das Chalet umgibt, ist wirklich sehr schön, einzig die vielen Stechmücken waren ziemlich störend.
Von Capaci haben wir nicht viel gesehen, da wir immer Tagestouren unternommen haben, deswegen haben wir auch den Privatstrand nicht gesehen.
Das Chalet ist mit allem nötigem ausgestattet, auch die Küche, bei vier Personen könnte der Platz allerdings schon knapp werden, besonders da nur ein Schrank für Kleidung zur Verfügung steht.

lovely little chalet

Had a fantastic time staying here, the chalet is on the ground of the owners house & gardens set in lovely lemon & lime groves. The family are very welcoming & made our stay! The chalet is a perfect size, with excellent air con, comfy beds & powerful shower. We didn't feel it was too small for us. Location is good with a public beach less than 5 mins walk away. However if you want to use the owners private beach & pool (they own a hotel in town) then you will need to walk about 15mins. We found this no problem everyday, but if you have young children you will need a car. Capaci is lovely and relaxing, the beach is beautiful & very clean and the people are lovely. Its is an authentic Italian resort so not many tourists, so if its bright lights & nightlife you are looking for you will need to drive 10mins into the stunning capital city of Palermo (well worth a visit).
We loved the Capaci as it ticked all our boxes, fun, sun and amazing food. We have just booked to go back again in September as we had so much fun!
