archeological tours.: Only 5 km away you can visit the Nuraghe Albucciu dating between the tenth century. and the XVI century. a.C. 'Monti Incappidatu' massive granite round shaped 'mushroom.' The 'temple of Malchittu' unique in the whole of Sardinia, for its excellent preservation. 'Tiana', rocky hill that dominates the plain of Arzachena that in addition to traces of fortifications, with this many cavity walls.

Water activities.: Numerous activities for lovers of the sea between dives, boat trips the archipelago of La Maddalena, international regattas.

Golf: Golf activities.At 10 minutes from our house you can reach the splendid golf course (18 holes), set in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Other Activities: horseback riding, scuba diving, catamaran trips.

Lovely apartement and great hosts

The flat is very nice, new furnishing and very lovely sardinian decoration. The kitchen (with a gas cooker!) is well-appointed. Nothing was missing. The surrounding of the flat is very calm, perfect for relaxing. For reaching a restaurant, a supermarket, or the beach, a car is recommendet. By feed, it is about 3 km. However, for sardinia a car is a must in any case, as it provides so many beautiful places. For us (young couple, 28) the one week stay was absolutely wonderful, regarding both the island and the apartement. We will go back as soon as possible for sure.

The apartment was lovely, very clean and comfortable and well maintained. It was in a very rural setting and therefore very quiet and peaceful, excellent for a restful holiday. Lucia was lovely, very friendly and helpful. She gave us fresh homemade yoghurt which we ate for breakfast everyday with fresh fruit and cereal. She also supplied us with freshly laid eggs. Lucia's english was good which was very helpful.
It was essential to have a car as there were no restaurants, bars or beaches within walking distance so the apartment would not be suitable for anyone who did not wish to drive everywhere. However it was a good base for exploring the area and there were many lovely beaches within 10 -30 minutes drive away. There was also a very good restaurant about 5 minutes drive away. The most lively place nearby was Baia Sardinia, about 20mins drive away and we went there several times.
We certainly enjoyed our holiday and it was very restful. I would definately recommend the apartment to anyone wanting to stay in a peaceful setting away from the crowds.

Great place

the place was great? very clean, cozy. The owner provided us with a great cusotmer service. Lucia welcomed us with a basket of eggs and a bottle of wine. We will really recomend staying at this place. Also it is very close to the beach and to Porto Cervo.

A good holidays

Sólo pasamos dos días en esta casa, pero fueron geniales. La dueña es una mujer encantadora que nos agasajaba todos los días con alguna comida hecha por ella...también nos dio información y mapas sobre el entorno.
No es recomendable alojarse aquí si no se dispone de vehículo propio. Está cerquita de la costa y de pueblos interesantes y conocidos, pero siempre hay que coger el coche ya que es una vivienda alejada.
Dentro de la casa no falta ningún detalle en ninguna parte, está todo impecable y no falta de nada. E insisto, los dueños, que viven encima (pero esto no supone ningún inconveniente) son encantadores.

Booked on Tues, landed on Weds, and took a risk with an apartment without much detail. In the end a fabulous holiday. Invited by landlord to a traditional suckling pig Sunday feast, invited by his guests to use their swimming pool overlooking the most exclusive bay on the island - extremely generous and welcoming. The apartment was a bit basic and short of some essentials - like a kitchen welcome pack, and garden furniture. The beds were rock hard and fridge had a late-night "singing" ritual. But we slept well on the whole, found a good supermarket and made do. Carmelo is the best cook on the island and it was a delight to speak pidgin Italian and French to make ourselves understood - sort of! When he builds his swimming pool we will be back! Fantastic mountain location - five mins west to secluded beachs, ten mins east to the millionaires' playground. What more could you ask for. Delightful.
