Puerto Pollensa holiday apartment

We stayed for 10 days at the apartment in Puerto Pollenca in Sept 2009. Looks just as good as the photos, handed over to us in immaculate condition, great kitchen and bathroom - lots of space for a family, light and airy. Really good laundry room with w/machine and airer, plenty of towels and sheets, etc. Clean and tidy, quiet neighbours, beach at the end of the road with loungers and perfect for toddlers/small children. Beach cafe about 5-8 mins walk up towards town, main area of town for shops/restaurants is 10-15 mins walk. Bus takes you into Palma in 1hr or to the nearby town of Pollenca in 10mins or lots of taxis. Useful small supermarket/bakery just near apartment too but quite expensive. Highly recommend GURU restaurant in town for lovely meals for adults and children, terrific staff. A few things we would have changed, but very minor and did not effect our very pleasant stay: the flat is stylish and contemporary but the bedlinen is a bit worn and old-fashioned compared to the rest of the furnishings. Also, bring plenty of DVDs if you want some TV-time, as there are not many English-speaking TV channels on the Freesat service (that we could find or access as it kept freezing). Otherwise, we had a great time staying at this apartment and would highly recommend it to either groups of friends or a small family/family with small children. NB: it is 1st floor, so you need to carry up a pushchair. Would definitely go back again.
