Very pretty property with 4000m2 of wooded parkland. Peaceful. Perfect for get-togethers with family and friends. A stone's throw from the national stud farm and the abbey, 5 minutes from the racecourse. The house is in a charming little town with all the necessary shops (bank, restaurant, hairdresser, beautician etc.) An unmissable event takes place each year in Montier en Der: The International Festival of Wildlife Photography. The town is near Lake of Der (nearly 12 000 acres of water) where you can take part in a variety of water sports and outdoor activities (sailing, rowing, motor boats, hiking, horse riding, mountain biking etc.) as well as visit museums, churches and farms. LAKE DER is popular with bird lovers from October to March, when they come to admire the diverse species such as grey cranes, ducks, herons, geese and white-tailed eagles - more and more arrive each year.
