This delightful, two-room apartment is located near the Louvre -- just off Rue du Louvre and Rue Etienne Marcel. This is a one floor walk up apartment. This historical apartment was once part of the townhouse home of the Countess DuBarry (1700s), who was the mistress of Louis XV. The apartment is divided into two main rooms, plus a galley-type kitchen and bathroom with shower. The entrance room (salon) also serves as the dining room. At night it's a second sleeping room with a trundle bed that makes two full single beds. The bath and kitchen are off of this room. Our historic apartment sleeps up to four persons. The Chambre gives off a particularly French feel. It is a long room, with a French queen size bed and closets at one end. There's a full living room with TV and stereo, at the other end. This room has beautiful stone walls from the 1600's. Place Des Victoires, with all its designer shops, is just one and a half blocks away.

Nearest Train: Gare De Lyon, Gare Du Nord, Les Halles at 1 Miles
The Historic Apartment is located just a block and a half from the Chatlet/Les Halles Metro RER station. It is possible to come to the apartment direct from either CDG or ORY via this RER train service. A block away from the apartment is the market street of Rue Montorgueil. This pedestrian only section of Paris is the food basket of the right bank. There are many take out places for those meals at home. You will become Parisian during your stay. It is fun to experience Paris as a native. Of course you are in the heart of Paris and within walking distance of Notre Dame, the Seine, the Left Bank, the Louvre, Place Vendome, the Opera, Place de la Concorde and the Palais Royale. Metro Stop is Les Halles or Etienne Marcel.

  • Cleaning fees in addition to apartment charge. $90 for 5 or fewer nights, $50 for 6-9 nights, no cleaning fee 10 or more nights. $150 key damage deposit returned with speedy return of keys to our Sparta Office.

    We will send keys to you before you leave. For those living abroad, we will Fed Express the keys. Cost for that is $40. Tour documents and directions to the apartment will come to you via email.
  • 3rd and 4th persons pay $10 per person per night.

The Rue Montorgueil is just one block away. The location of this apartment puts you within walking distance of the Opera, Notre Dame, Louvre, Madeline, and the Left Bank -- you'll never get bored! We accept Visa and Mastercard for payment. Keys are mailed or couriered directly to your home, and apartment documents and directions are sent to you via email. We have someone in Paris to help you if you encounter a problem.

Comfort: The apartment is a two room apartment with each room being a sleeping room. In the Chambre we have a queen size bed. In the Salon there is a trundle bed that makes two full size twins with full mattresses.
