• A booking may be made by telephone or e-mail to the owner. That booking will be confirmed on receipt of a deposit of £100. The balance, along with a refundable deposit of £150 becomes due, one month prior to occupancy. The damage deposit will be refunded within 4 weeks, where no damage has been caused. ALTHOUGH THE RATES QUOTED ARE IN STERLING, EURO ARE ALSO ACCEPTED.

Within a fifty mile radius of Praia Del Rey are some of Portugal's finest courses. Aroeia boasts 2, 18 hole courses. the first is described as the Portuguese Wentworth, while the other is the qualifying school to the ladies European tour. Both these courses measure over 6000 yards. BELAS:- Another fine course situated 10 miles from Lisbon and close to the beautiful area of Sintra. this is also a par 72 course measuring 6380m. CAMPO REAL:-- ESTORIL:---BOTADO:----LISBON SPORTS CLUB:---MONTADO:---QUINTA A MARINHA:---PENHA LONGA:---QUINTA DA BELOURA:---OITAVOS GOLF:---QUINTA DO BRINCAL (GOLDEN EAGLE) are but a sample of the many excellent courses in the area.

BEACHES

There are two types of beach available in this area. Touching onto the complex is the Atlantic ocean in all its splendor. The beaches here are ideal for sun bathers but be warned the sea is for the more experienced. As in a lot of Portugal the beach slopes towards the sea and the water gets deep very quickly. This area is ideal for surfers and water sports enthusiasts. For a more family friendly beach and swim area it's best to go 2 kilometers to the lagoon. This is a more sheltered area and is ideal for young children. It's also a great area for sun seekers.

Golf Information:

Praia Del Rey is one of the premier golf courses in Europe. It is very similar to a lot of links courses in the British Isles and is truly, a real test for any golfer. The course is maintained in excellent condition all year round. There are also first class practice areas available. The clubhouse also offers grade 'A' catering facilities and a fine ambiance. If you like a bit of choice, you may retire to the 5 star Marriot hotel which is also on site and boasts a fine leisure complex. If it's a golf holiday you desire, you've just come to the right place.
