This is a luxurious and spacious apartment furnished with very high quality furniture, with marble floors and high quality building finishes. It has secure underground parking and lifts to the apartment. It enjoys 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, fully automatic air conditioning, heating and satellite television; it is within a small private development of 75 apartments which is small by Spanish standards, thus allowing for a peaceful relaxing holiday. The apartment benefits from a fully fitted kitchen with a microwave, cooker, large fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a videophone entry system and burglar alarm, and fire safety alarms. The complex has 2 swimming pools including one for children. There is also a secure underground parking area and sub-tropical landscaping with Alhambra fountains and plenty of room to relax. Royal golf Riviera is situated in Riviera del Sol, only 20 minutes drive west of Malaga International Airport.

Riviera is a popular area positioned in between the larger towns of Fuengirola and Marbella and close to the village of La Cala. It is central to the beach & all the amenities that Mijas Costa has to offer. There are numerous bars and restaurants offering a wide variety of cuisines to suit all tastes. In addition, there is the Aztec Country Club which boasts an Olympic size swimming pool along with crazy golf, tennis, gym, aerobics and a health & beauty centre. There are also supermarkets, car hire shops, newsagents, medical centres, and numerous places to exchange your money. The Aqua Park , Horse Racing ( The only course in Spain), Go Karting , Dolphin Centre, Zoo, Adventure parks are all within easy reaching distance. Close by are Fuengirola, Cabopino, Marbella, Puerto Banus & La Cala which are a must to visit.   • This Luxury apartment is managed by an English Speaking Representative. An information pack is provided, should you require any assistance, they will be able to help.
    A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to departure. Water, Electricity, Heating and Air Conditioning is included in the price, however a refundable deposit of £100.00 is required to cover breakages, excess use of electricity, any excess cleaning or loss of keys. This deposit is to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure and is returned on receipt of the keys.
    Departure 10:30am / Check in 2:00pm or by arrangement.
  • Shorter breaks are available as are longer term rentals starting as little as £18.00 per person per night short term and £11.50 long term mainly during the winter months for golfers and retired people who wish to escape the cold winters in the uk minimum of two occupants staying.

Locally: Riviera beach is 10 minutes walk from the apartment which has good amenities including a new supermarket. Try David's bar for a relaxing evening drink or Max beach which is a very popular bar/restaurant their are a dozen restaurants and bars close by. There are a variety of restaurants, shops and bars/ discos etc in Calahonda a 5 minute drive away as is another beach. And a lovely town called La Cala is 5 minutes from Riviera and has over a Thirty restaurants and bars you will certainly have plenty of things to see and do. Fuengirola and Marbella are exceptionally good for clothes and shoe shopping for all ages. Just outside Marbella, a 10 minute drive away is La Canada, a large shopping mall good for fashion shopping. A car is not vital to the enjoyment of your holiday, the beach, bars and shops are all within easy walking distance as is a taxi rank (taxis are fairly cheap in Spain] and a bus service runs up and down the coast.

Golf: With over 60 golf courses in the province of Malaga (more than any other province in Spain) more than 30 of these are to be found in the 'Costa del Golf' area Royal Golf is situated only 50 mtrs away from the Miraflores Golf Clubhouse. Miraflores is one of the leading resort developments on the Costa del Sol, in the Mijas municipality and very close to Marbella, the Miraflores Golf 18 holes course has a number of elevated greens. Holes 18th, 12th and 15th are really memorable, the last with the water forming a moat around the green. Hole 8th offers a breathtaking view of the countryside. The club offers the possibility of renting carts, clubs and buggies and make sure to stop off at the restaurant which offers excellent value on their evening set meal and lunch menus. They also offer Flamenco evenings in the summer.

The apartment was Lovely and had everything we needed and the area was nice ,on our stay we relaxed by the pool, which was really nice and warm and also went to the beach on four days.

On the sunday we caught the bus to marbella and then a taxi to Puerto banus, which was well worth a visit

Next time I will hire a car as I,m sure their was a lot more to see and do my only advice I would give to other travellers is confirm your return cost to the airport as if using public taxis it can be expensive we were charged 100 euros.

Our Fab Stay

Apartment is in a good location & easy to find. It is very clean, spacious & has everything you would need- for us, home from home! Loved the balcony, most evenings before we went out, were spent watching the sun go down & enjoying views of GIB & Africa! I'd recommend this apartment for both couples & families. My husband & I have stayed twice. The pool area is nice, well kept & we never struggled for space! We hired a car whilst we were there as we knew there were touristy places we wanted to see that was quite a distance from the apartment. A car is not essential, there is a good supply of taxis outside OpenCor (supermarket for the area) & regular bus service on the main road.

Surrounding area of the apartment is clean & we always felt safe. We enjoyed walks pass the golf course, down to the Golf Range (had lessons). There is also a Sports Bar there, they do great pizzas & other main dishes at reasonable prices & is a great place to go to if you don't fancy the walk down to the bottom (nr Opencor). Make sure you have a massage from Mike who specialises in sports injuries & relaxing massages, he is based next door to the bar. A little further up the road from there & straight over the roundabout, is a small area that has a supermarket which sells almost everything you'll need & has a couple of nice restaurants & a cash machine.

During our stay we mostly walked down to the end (nr the OpenCor) & ate there. We liked the bars &atmosphere. Our favourite restaurant was Max Beach Bar, the food there is plentiful, delicious and prices were reasonable too. I would strongly recommend visiting Cabopino Beach & Marina, which is a 10-15min drive from the apartment. Our favourite place to eat when we are there is El Puerto. Menu is mainly seafood, waiters provide an excellent service. A little on the pricey side, but nice treat. Cabopino Beach also consists of has other restaurants such as Spanish, Chinese and Italian, it also has a bar. The apartment is within easy reach by car or bus to Gibraltar, LaCala (which has a very nice beach) and Puerto Banus/ Marbella (for people watching and checking out the nice yachts). We visit Old Town Mijas, every time we go - it's easy to get to, quaint, traditional and up in the mountains. Has nice restaurants & also sports lovely views of the CostaDelCol.

Both my husband and I like relax and sightsee/get to know the local
area. If that is the kind of holiday you are after then this is the
place for you!

I have stayed at several apartments along the costa del sol and this complex and apartment is one of the best.

Initially,I stumbled upon this apartment by absolute chance when browsing for an apartment near a golf complex as my son is a professional golfer my husband plays as well.We were absolutely not disappointed on arrival,the apartment was spacious and well equipped with all modern luxuries from dishwasher to the small luxuries like fluffy white towels and lovely bed linen.We were truly not disappointed. Since our first visit we have been back four times and really feel at home as soon as we arrive.

My family like a good mixture of relaxation,sight seeing and sports and my family consists of two children aged 15 and 18 and there is something around and
about for everyone.

A car is a complimentary addition.

We have found several nice places to eat near to the apartment:

Chinese along Riveira front "The Golden Sun" food/service excellent and reasonably priced. They always remember us after each visit!!!

Browns again along Riveira front specialises in English food at peak times may need to book a table. Reasonably priced

Bunkers bar- half way up the hill to the small complex,a good resting place mid way through the walk to the top of the hill!!! Good snacks and service

Fellinis- within the Aztec centre excellent family atmosphere,excellent food,slightly more pricey

Sol y Sombre- Bar at the top of the hill- good bar to end the evening prior to going home, friendly welcoming staff

Venta Del Golf- in the complex at the top of the hill,excellent food/service resonable prices


These are a few of our favourites that we visit several times during our stay.

There really is something for everyone in this area and it is also a good base to sightsee other places of interest,however the main focus of our holiday is relaxation,golf,good food,wine and company. Riveria, Rod and Debbies appartment will definately not disappoint.

We have stayed at another apartment on the same complex,and even though the layout was the same,the quality and standard of the interior was not.We cannot
wait for our next trip. Rod and Debbie are polite,helpful and have considered everything to make your stay enjoyable.

The apartment was spotless on our arrival larger than expected the views from the terrace were stunning and it was very convinient for all the area had to offer the weather was lovely for this time of year would definately recommend it.
